Nice for the price.
Back lightning is nice, fits well but I wish the hands were black, that would make it easier to read without my glasses on.

Great watch
I have 3 Timex Expedition Scouts with the indigo feature in different colors. I own some very expensive watches including that famous Swiss watch and watches designed for military. These are absolutely my go to daily watches for years. Durable, rugged and I have put them thru the wringer and they, as the Timex ads use to say, "it takes a licking and keeps on ticking". Just can't go wrong with these

Nice Watch
I have a 40+ year old watch which I dearly love (it has always kept almost perfect time (a couple of seconds a month - better than any other watch I own) except when the battery is dying then it just slows down & finally stops) but it has gone wonky in the last 6 weeks and is probably not worth repairing (even for its sentimental value). Saw this one on pre-Christmas sale & decided, because it is almost a dead ringer for the old one, to buy even though I generally don't like paying more than $30 for a watch. (this one only a couple of $$ over on sale). So far it has been great. Have not had it long enough to "time" it but seems to be doing well. Looks nice, easy to read (only not easy to read bit is the date & that's my old eyes problem). Light works well (although a nice feature, not one I'd go out of my way for) as does the luminescence for a time after taking it out of the light. Cloth/material/non-metal bands have come a long way since I bought the old one these many years ago. Its cloth band only lasted 9 months to a year. Replaced several times with cloth and other non-metal bands and finally bought a metal band 20 years ago. The nylon band seems like it might last a while but only time will tell.

Nice looking but sometimes hard to read
I've been wearing Timex watches my whole life. They have a limited shelf life - mostly the indiglow stops working after some time, or the waterproof seal doesn't work after a battery change - but so far neither of these is an issue. Overall I like this model but there are two minor issues. First one is the wristband. It's smaller that others that I've had - I'm on the next to last hole! (out of ten!) The material is nice looking, I like it, but it's stiff. I was worried I'd even get it to fit on my wrist the first time I put it on. The other issue for me is the watch hands are the same color as the face plate; there are times when I don't even see the hands at first glance. I'll often have to look twice/closer or hit the indiglow back light to figure out the time. Minor inconvenience but a shortcoming of the design. I still like the look and wear it daily

Good and cheap watch
I got this watch to add to my collection and it has been a great addition. So far, the watch has been kind of stiff when putting on but over time it has gotten broken in and is more comfortable. The watch itself is much smaller than I usually like, but it fits nice and looks really good. I do recommend this watch if you like smaller watches and are looking to add a new watch to the collection.

Larger than expected
Although this watch said it was unisex, it was much larger than I expected and I returned it. Would like to see a similar one in a smaller size.

LOVED this watch, but it is LOUD and not durable
UPDATE (August 18, 2019): Have to knock this down to 3 stars. 15 months after purchasing, the watch stopped working. I knew it wasn't the battery because the backlight still worked. Two different watch repair places confirmed it wasn't the battery, but they didn't know what was wrong. They were all reluctant to do anything and just told me to get a new watch, but I ultimately found someone in Chinatown Boston who opened it up and cleaned it for $20 and got it running again. I assume there must have been something lodged in there blocking the motion of the hands. A bit concerning that something would have gotten in there or broken off inside, but at least it works again. Original Review (April 23, 2018): It feels weird to give this 4 stars because I actually really love this watch. I'm a 5'3" female with a 14cm (5.5 inch) wrist, and I was looking to replace my Timex Ironman digital watch with something just a little classier. I wore my digital watch 24/7 before it died in a hot tub, and I felt naked and out of sorts in the few weeks I went before replacing it. I still don't understand how people can function without a watch. But I digress. I had several things I was looking for in a watch: I wanted an analog watch. I wanted something I'd be able to see if I woke up in the middle of the night, and I don't trust glow-in-the-dark paint to still be luminous at 4:30am. I wanted water resistance enough to shower with the watch on so I'd know if I was dawdling too long in the shower in the morning. I wanted the date displayed. I wanted a watch that wasn't teeny tiny like a lot of women's watches are but also not so big it would look ridiculous on my wrist (again...14cm wrist). I wanted to spend less than $100. It was a tricky search to find a watch that would meet all these requirements, and the Timex Expedition Scout Unisex was the only one that did. A previous reviewer mentioned that he didn't think women would enjoy this aesthetic, but I'm a tomboy, and as I was searching for a watch, I constantly found myself eyeing men's watches and wishing there was a women's version that had the same look because the men's ones would definitely be too big for my wrist. In comes the Timex Expedition Scout, with a unisex version that is the look I want and the size I want, and meets all of my requirements. I actually bought the Timex Women's Expedition Metal Field Mini Watch as well in order to compare the two because I was worried the Expedition Scout Unisex would still be too big on my wrist, but the the Mini didn't hold a candle to this one. So why 4 stars and not 5? As most other reviewers have pointed out, this thing is LOUD. I knew that when I bought it, which was another reason I bought the Mini at the same time. I wanted to see if I could live with the ticking noise, and if not, I would have kept the Mini and returned this one. Turns out I can live with the noise. It can be annoying in certain situations, but I found that if I use the last hole (smallest setting) on the watch band, the ticking sound gets muffled against my skin most of the time so I can't hear it anymore. Using the smaller size makes me more conscious of wearing a watch, which might be an issue for some people, but being someone who wears a watch 24/7, it was only a small adjustment for me. That being said, I couldn't give a 5-star rating because I felt like the noise was a HUGE drawback. I very nearly returned the watch because of the noise. The Mini doesn't have the same problem. Overall though, I feel pretty lucky to have found this watch, as it is the only one to meet all my requirements, and I really like the aesthetic of it as well. I enjoy the blue face on mine. The Indiglo is great, and I don't know why other watch manufacturers don't have anything like it until you get to some of the several hundred dollar Victorinox watches. So far I've only showered with the watch on twice, but I'll start showering with it every day once I exchange the leather strap for a nylon one. I really appreciate Timex making a Unisex version of this so that we ladies can have something nice too!

Comfortable, stylish, durable
I got this watch for my teenage son, so the bulk of this review is his words based on wearing it for the last two weeks. Things he likes are the light, which is easy to use, and not too bright, he also likes how comfortable it is along with the color. Complaints are minor, but the one thing he said was a little annoying was that the loop that holds the end of the band moves, and causes the tail of the band to sometimes fall out. (See photo) All in all he really likes it and said he’d buy it again. Dad commentary: teenagers are hard on stuff and while we’ve only had this a couple of weeks, it’s holding up well and he’s worn it every day. A nice product from a reputable company!

Waste of money
Not as described, strap was supposed to be natural tan leather but is a blue canvas strap, all over a very cheap look and feel to this watch and not worth the cost, came in a paper FedEx package with no protection. I wouldn't bother with this product.

ok watch
Timex watches are....well...Timex watches. I was tired of features on a digital watch that I never used and the not very easy programming, so opted for an analogue. It's fine for that purpose, has a big easy to read face. My only complaint is the strap is very stiff so tedious to put on quickly. It may flex more with time or can easily be replaced.

Great medium sized field watch at a good price
A decent field watch, fits smaller wrists well. The stock strap is OK, however upgrade to a NATO style strap and it looks even better. Being quartz, it does have an audible tick but nothing excessive. I also would have preferred to see black hands for more contrast and make them easier to read.

A mi me gustó!
Me encantó! En efecto tiene el defecto que mencionan otros compradores sobre la luz, pero no es notorio, la correa es gruesa, si es un poco rígida pero es muy resistente, con el uso se suaviza! Por el precio es excelente reloj!
