Functions but Cheap

The clock functions as a clock should. I have had no issues with noise or movement (eyes and tail) as some have mentioned. However, the first thing I noticed when I opened the box is how cheaply made the clock is ... a far cry from the quality level of the original versions from my younger days. The parts are thin plastic and could easily be broken when trying to assemble; the clock mechanism is cheap and based on my experience with other clocks that use a similar mechanism, I expect it will not last more than a year or two. In my opinion, now that I have the clock, it is extremely overpriced.

Obviously not a new item but it works

No complaints on the item however if it was a gift it looks like it came from Goodwill store. box opened and obviously repackaged as card was curved not flat same as with instructions. It arrived quick I am disappointed that it was sold as new and clearly it was used and repackaged. That's why it's rated so low as Amazon should not be selling used or repacked items unless marked as such.

Super cute and seems to work well...

The media could not be loaded. This just arrived yesterday and I got it up today. Not sure about the issues that others have seemingly had as the clock was no problem to hang whatsoever and I didn't even have to give the tail a push to get it going... It just started all on its own. It's quite a cute piece and seems to work very well. 5 Stars...

cat clock felix great item, looks happy and funny, not like other clocks which look creepy, easy to put to gether just use small clip with two pins, to connect tail to pendulum. make sure hang up right, like you do any pendulum clock very pleased thank you

The media could not be loaded. I love him more than I could possible love a little clock. 2 brand new batteries n a very level wall...and you're off and ticking. Very accurate. Adorable. Thank you to the makers. I may buy another one for another part of the house.

Works well and looks quirky.

Loved every thing about this quirky clock, it needs 2 AA batteries to work clock and tail. If you like felix you will love this clock, very well made and keeps good time.

Do not use Alkaline batteries

I have had a few of these clocks and have some advice for you. If you want them to last, take the advice of the manufacturer and do not use Duracell/Alkaline batteries. Over time they can damage the electronics. You can find AA Zinc batteries at the Dollar store or Amazon Simple wall clock movements do not have sufficient voltage regulation, I had the same experience with Seiko wall clock movements, Zinc batteries work fine, movements malfunction after using Alkaline or Lithium batteries. I found a notification on the Seiko movement manufacturers website stating that Alkaline is NOT recommended. It also cost me a few clocks and now I know why. Trust the manufacturer.
