Excellent product in tampered package

The package arrived in a broken box, it had clearly been previously opened from both ends, also the bottle itself was unsealed. It looked like it had been slightly used. I wouldn’t doubt it was returned several times due to the product’s awkward smell. I read reviews from Sephora, and people seem to complain a lot about this product’s bad smell. It’s my first Oribe product so I cannot attest if other Oribe products have the same issue. However, I decided to keep it because I needed urgently a detangler for my long, wavy, high porosity hair. Also because of the great reviews from customers who do like them. I’m embracing it’s natural texture, I don’t flat iron or blow dry my hair any longer. For this reason I don’t have split ends while avoiding hair breakage and loss. So, I wanted something that would define my waves and keep it detangled, and protected from humidity. After my first use, I was very impressed with the results. It defined my beachy waves, and my hair still feels soft to the touch. It also added nice livelihood, bounce, shine, and volume. My hair looks great! It does smell a tad funky when I squeeze the bottle to dispense it, but when I smell my hair I don’t smell anything bad, so it seems to dissipate quickly. I gave the review a 4 stars because I paid full price for a NEW luxury beauty product. I think Amazon should make a distinction in price (discount) and at least make customers aware if they’re shipping something returned and/or used.

Defrizzes my waves

I love Oribe products. I use the hair gel serum. But I still found that my waves frizzed and didn't feel super soft. The leave-in conditioner totally fixes that problem! Love it! I see others commented on the scent. I honestly don't notice a scent (good or bad) to the product.

Weird smell.

The product itself is nice and moisturized my hair great but the fragrant smells off. Would definitely buy again though since it works great.

It’s Magic! The Moisture is Unmatched!

I cannot even begin to explain just how much I LOVE this product! Bleaching and dying natural hair can take a toll on your curls, but THIS saves the day. I can’t imagine life without it now. It’s creamy and rich, but doesn’t weigh your hair down. I love it. My hair stays moist and hydrated for days. No frizzing, no overly dry days, just curls that get compliments. I’ve also found that I can go longer between washes.

The Best Leave-In for FINE 4C Curls

My daughter has fine 4C hair that is to fine for protective styles. They leave her hair too dry and broken—or worse yet, pulled out. She basically does a wash-n-go daily, but without the washing. (One or two shampoos/deep conditioning a week with Bread based on how much product or gross 6 year-oldness happens!) Every morning, we steam with the Q-Renew, use this, a touch of curl cream, and Bread’s oil. Perfection. I’ve tried EVERYTHING! Pattern. Carol’s Daughter. Mixed Chicks. Shea Moisture. And on and on and on. So many pro cuts sit on her hair—even if sopping wet out of the shower. Thank you low porosity! But this goes into the shaft. It leaves her hair soft, touchable, and beautiful. $38 for a 6 y/o is absolute insanity, but it works so well and lasts about six months for us. Done and done.

A wonderful routine addition!

This leave-in primer is a one of a kind. Not only does it help to prime your hair for any other Oribe product you use to finish your hair (I also use the finishing smoothing cream) but it also helps to prep your hair for other products! I occasionally use a LUSH-brand leave-in (R&B specifically) and this primer helps that leave-in soak in and makes my hair feel softer than ever before! The scent of the primer is that of the shampoo, conditioner and softening cream- light and exotic, but pairs well with other product scents. I use about a large grape sized dollop, spread all over my hands (between the fingers and even the back of my hands a bit) before running all over and through my hair. I let air dry for just a minute or two before applying my next product. Can even be used alone on an off-day where you shower & soak your hair (but don’t shampoo) and just need a touch of moisture afterwards!

Excellent Leave-in Conditioner

Oribe products are amazing, this leave in conditioner does not disappoint. I have very curly fine hair and was afraid that it would be too heavy, it is not. My hair can get so dry and frizzy and when I wash, condition and leave this in, it is way less dry and frizzy, amazing product, it is expensive, but lasts a long time and is worth the price.

Not sure yet but not impressed with packaging condition or scent

Arrived today. I wasn’t too impressed by the old beat-up box it came in. Also wondering if the bottle should have had a seal? There was no seal, so I was able to just open the spout and squeeze some product out.. but the bottle says it is only good open for 12 months. I would have expected it to be sealed then? And the scent is strong and there is something a bit sickly-flowery about it that I don’t love. For the price, I was expecting something a little less sketchy.

Oribe always has a seal. This one does not. It is opened and smell is different. I'm very upset! Update! Amazon Customer Service is taking care of this! Stay tuned.

Great product

Received a sample of this product and was so impressed by the results. Hair is much more manageable but use sparingly as it is very concentrated.

Smells odd

Was really looking forward to this but on opening the battered box and the unsealed lid, the smell was awful and not something I would expect for the expense. Will be seeking a return
