Best blades you can buy
These hold up way better than factory blades and cut just as well if not better

Good blade
This is a good blade but is not a "miracle" blade. I live in the country and my "yard", or I guess it should more aptly be "the area I mow on a regular basis", conists of some grass (St. Augustine, Bermuda) and more weeds than grass. I mow my approximately 1/2 acre "yard" with a 42" riding lawnmower. Pro: This blade cuts well in the grass. It mulches everything small enough that I don't have to worry about thatch buildup. And, it has accomplished what I wished when I purchased it. I now mulch when mowing versus catching the grass or just exhausting it out the side. This is much better for my "yard" and hopefully it will help the grass run the weeds out. One great advantage is that my mowing time has decreased from 2-3 hours to 1 - 1/2 hours by not having to dump bagging bins or go over the yard several times to mulch the clippings, so that in itself is worth the price of the blades. Con: This blade is no better than any other I've tried with the weeds. Most of the weeds are just too tough for mowing at any speed other than low speed and cutting consistently in one pass. I think that this would be the case with whatever blade used but I was hopeful this one would be different, but that is not the case. Don't know that this is a knock on the blade as much as my "yardening" for not taking care of the weeds! Overall, I am well satisfied with the blades and will continue to use them. Other reviews have noted how long these last. I've only used the blades for a short time this season, so I'll have to hold judgement on that to see what kind of effect the weeds have on blade wear and tear.

looks beefy - fits craftsmen 42" deck
I own a Craftsman 17HP riding lawnmower with a 42" deck. After 5 seasons of use I managed to ruin the original set of mulching blades. I bought these as my replacement to the factory mulching blades. The length of these new blads is exactly the same as the factory blades, they are perceptibly thicker - maybe a millimeter but the width is about 1/4 wider however the blade still swings within the deck. Between being slightly thicker and a 1/4 wider the blade is heavier and has a "beefier" presence to it. The "star" pattern around the central hole exactly matches the factory original. Its worth saying the blades comes with thick factory coat of paint that covers everything including the cutting edge. Because of the thick coat of paint its hard to tell how sharp - "factory sharp" might be. Because of this my plan is to lightly dress/sharpen the blades before first use. Because I have not made a cut yet I cannot speak as to how well (or not) these blades behave to the factory blades. The original factory blades have a different set of curves in them to create lift so cut grass/material is flipped in the air for additional re-cutting (mulching). This blade uses its own design for creating the lift. I know nothing about lift design but the factory blades seems "better" to my uneducated eye as it involves more of the shaft of the blade to create lift then this replacement blade does. Other reviewers gave high praise on the finished look of their lawn with this blade, I will assume they are correct and despite the difference in design the new blade will perform the same or better than the factory original

Very Good Blade
Took a chance with this blade because of the positive reviews concerning it, and mainly because I wasn't sure it would fit, but at a savings of almost half over the OEM blades decided it was worth the chance. Purchased these for my 61" Husqvarna Zero Turn Mower, and of course I needed three blades to do the job for these nearly 3 1/2 acres over various types of terrain. Jacked up the mower and took off the old blades and then discovered these new blades fit perfectly!!! Mowed the entire property and would have to say these blades worked very well, although I wasn't using them this time as mulchers since I had my discharge chute wide open, but I did notice that what was discharged was cut up very fine and didn't have any wind row of grass. Now I'm really looking forward to seeing how well these blades will do come Fall when I have a thousand bushels of leaves to mulch. And if they truly do mulch the leaves down to powder then I'll be ordering another set to have in reserve. I would not hesitate to recommend these blades to anyone looking for a good quality mower blade at a VERY GOOD price point!!

Both good & bad
While I have to give kudos to the seller for providing a good product at a good price, my own personal experience was somewhat problematic. 1st off the shipping method was probably the slowest I've experienced. Granted the product had to come completely across the country (from Washington to Florida) but it was a week plus before the blades ever arrived. That alone I could've lived with with minimal complaint but once I finally did receive the product I opened the package only to discover inside was a totally incorrect product. Contacting the seller (who was very prompt to reply) I was told the corrected order would be shipped out immediately and a slightly faster shipping method would be used. Once I received the correct order I was to included the postage paid return receipt and 'incorrect' order to the seller. This also took an additional several days but ultimately did receive the correct order. So in review, I appreciate the product and the prompt attention to problems, however was unfortunately the victim of a mix up in orders and not impressed with the speed of the delivery method used. It seems priority mail would add only a dollar or two to the shipping cost at max and would be worth the additional few days of wait. Though I presume the order mix up was an isolated event the additional time lead to some frustration with the ordering process. I would still be willing (and intend to) order from them again. THX.

improvement over stock blade
I installed this blade on a new husqvarna AWD mower. The blade i replaced was the new husqvarna blade that only went through 3 cuttings and this blade was a great improvement. the clippings were finer and very little clumping. The mulching teeth do work and recycle the clippings for multiple cuts. The blade came well packaged and had the original label. Product was as new like retail. The cutting edge was painted over from factory so i grinded off the paint to a bare metal edge - may not be necessary but i wanted to start with a clean sharp edge. Recommended and would buy again.
