It Works

Before I start the review, I will say that I purchased the 2-Pack of this product and it shipped from Amazon and was packaged in the proper Oral-B packaging, and all in all in a genuine product. I realize that some of the top reviews were from years ago when apparently this was highly counterfeited. I do not believe that to be the case as much anymore, or at least not from Amazon at this time. Anyways, the replacement head fit perfectly fine with my Oral-B 1000 electric toothbrush which is basically one of the most basic toothbrushes they sell. It came with two plastic rings which keep the head steadily held in place against the toothbrush itself. You only actually need one, so maybe there is an extra in case one gets broke, lost, or just gets dirty. The floss tabs, or bristles, or whatever you want to call them somewhat disappointed me. They do not actually work with the motor and rather just glide against your teeth when brushing. The bristles themselves were nice and firm which makes me believe it will last a decent amount of time, which I have come to expect from their products. The major drawback I have with this particular head is that it is awkwardly shaped and a tad large considering its just the circle part. It almost resembles more of an oval shape and has to expand a bit In size to add room for the yellow floss pieces. I found that I would rattle the plastic against my teeth while brushing. Granted, this is by no means a deal-breaker and can be adjusted for simply by opening your mouth wider, but hey this is a review right? Overall, its a solid, genuine product, and likely cheaper here than what you'll find in the supermarkets.

Definitely better than other heads I tried

I bought these for my Oral-B Pro 300, which came with one 3D White head that didn't seem to do much, so I decided to try these heads out instead. PROS: - The MicroPulse bristles do their job: sure, they are not as effective as flossing, but they are able to remove most of the food stuck between your teeth. - They are original Oral-B heads and they are compatible with most Oral-B electric toothbrushes (Oral-B Genius 8000, Oral-B PRO 7000, 6000, 5000, 3000 and 1000, and Oral-B Vitality). - After using them for a few months, my dentist told me that my teeth were visibly cleaner with respect to when I was using the 3D White head. - The 2-count pack comes with two rings (one blue and one pink) that are perfect if you are sharing you electric toothbrush with someone and you need to distinguish the heads. CONS: - Pricey. - The bristles are a bit too hard: they work well on the teeth but I wouldn't use them if I had sensitive gums.

Floss Action vs. Cross Action -- Can't Decide!

My Oral-B Pro 5000 toothbrush came with one Floss Action toothbrush head and I have added a Cross Action toothbrush head to the mix. Can't really decide which brush head I prefer. The Floss Action head feels like it works better on the cheek side of the tooth as it seems to engage the tooth including the space between the teeth as the head is somewhat elongated along the axis of the toothbrush. But on the tongue side of the teeth, it is harder to get the brush head aligned to get that same engagement. The Cross Action head on the other hand is round, hence the engagement with the tooth is the same whether on the inside or outside of the tooth. Since the brush heads are easy to change out, I switch between them as the mood suits me, but I do tend to use the Cross Action head more. For what it's worth . . .

Happy purchase

I like the flossing action of these heads. The cost was a bit more than I expected, but it is the only one to fit my electric toothbrush. It is working well, and I like the massaging feeling after I brush. I will purchase again as needed.

good for those with gum issues

I've had my oral b electric toothbrush for a couple years and I pretty much only use these heads for the flossing aspect. I have bad gums, so I need to keep them as clean as possible and these do the job. These brushes are super soft (well, maybe right out of the box they are). Still, they do a great job keeping my teeth clean and gums healthy. I've noticed my teeth have gotten whiter since I started using these two years ago (and I don't even use whitening toothpaste). For some reason this review was hidden by a sensitivity filter. LOL. WUT

Amazing Product

These replacement brushes are fantastic! I don't know if the head I had been using was overdue to be changed out or if these are manufactured differently. I thought I was ordering exactly the same type as in the past, but I was pleasantly surprised by the superior results after brushing with this product. My teeth are so much cleaner - I hope Amazon continues to offer this exact selection. FYI - I have an older model Oral B Braun Triumph Professional Care electric toothbrush that's still going strong and I was a bit concerned that these may not fit. No worries, however - the head snapped on without difficulty.
