Love it
My cats seem to like this. Churchill, in the pic, is pretty timid, and he feels safe hidden in the leaves. It was easy to put together and it looks great in the room. I don't like the plastic tree trunk, it would be much better if it was a natural material, like wood. Or, if it was wrapped in sisal or something. Still it looks good. Make sure you have another tree, too, for scratching and heavy duty playing.

The cats LOVE it ❤️
My cats love everything about this cat tree. The artifical turf on the base is just rough enough they love to roll on it and give it a good scratch. There are plenty of branches to make playing hide and seek so much better. Plus it adds a whole new dimension to the sneak attack. One word about assembly: Read the directions. You HAVE to tighten all of the screws exactly like in the directions (or a bit tighter) or else the tree will be unstable. I have an 18 pound Bengal and he has no problems jumping onto the tree and all that sways are the branches. Speaking about the branches. They are easy to attach which means that they are easy to remove by your cats. Once a day, I go to the tree and put 2 or 3 branches back on that the cats removed for whatever cat reason. I would highly recommend this cat tree.

Worth the cost if your cat actually likes it
Sent directly to the Parentals, so my review is based on what has been stated to me. It arrived, not quickly yet not an eternity (Florida to West Coast, ground). Easy to assemble. Exactly as pictured and described. Sturdy. Worth every penny if the cat actually likes it, but sadly, doesn't. She wouldn't go near it when the foliage was installed. It is now merely an overpriced, unattractive, cat perch/climber. It will soon be donated to a cat rescue my Parentals already support.

Cats like it
It leans some the leaves fall off they have to be well hammered in there to stay but it's cool and it looks neat and the most important part is my cats dig it.

My cats are obsessed, and so are we.
I got this thinking our cats could use another cat tree, but also wanted one to match our spooky home. So when I found this, I figured I loved it enough if our cats didn't like it, at least it would be an excellent decoration to our home. And it turns out, our cats love it just as much as we do. We have 5 cats, and 4 out of 5 always use it. That's a win in my book. It was easy to put together, and so far, only a few leaves have been lost, and that's due to our cats chewing on them, which is to be expected.

Careful assembly pays dividends.
This is our fourth cat tree and the first that isn't a traditional, carpeted design. We rescued a stray/outdoor kitten that seemed to exibit a more natural hide/stalk behavior so I suspected this item would appeal to her. It does. She LOVES to lay on the top platform and keep a covert overwatch. Especially when we have company. Attention to detail will provide good assembly results. Carefully orient the "trunk" sections for best fit prior to threading it together. Flip and rotate to find a good position and watch how the trunk tubes interface with the carpeting. Use pliers to FULLY insert the leafy branches so they don't wiggle out. They get beat around pretty good with cats jumping through them all day. I haven't had a single branch come loose yet despite having to regularly straighten the ones that see a lot of abuse. The trunk sections are hard, glossy plastic. Real durable but not as "tree-like" as I'd hoped and useless for feline claw use. Good enough. The platforms have thin carpeting like you'd see in an office (durable but not "cushy") but about 1" around the entire perimeter is exposed wood (MDF or Chip). So far (couple months use), none of the carpet is coming loose and I haven't seen any staples popping. The artificial turf covering the base encourages them to scratch and looks nice enough. As a bonus, it's thick enough that our Roomba bumps into it and reverses without trying climb over it and getting stuck like with some of our other cat furniture. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it. A couple suggestions.... I'd personally like to see the base in a more organic/irregular shape. Also, I would love to see a larger variation that forces a young, healthy cat to work a bit harder and/or better accommodate a bigger breed. The bottom platform of mine never gets used. My small American Shorthair (5lbs) can EASILY jump directly onto the middle platform and my genuinely lean 15lb Maine Coon can jump directly to the top...and takes up ALL of it with his bulk. The Maine Coon's size and strength really demands a larger tree and the little cat could benefit from a bit more climbing/leaping.

Emits a continuous obnoxious odour
This tree tower is made from what we can only guess might be a cheap particle board perhaps MDF. It emits a continuous obnoxious odour and absolutely stinks. Is it formaldehyde off gassing? We don't know but something offensive is. We received it only four days ago and have tried to return it but Amazon indicates "This item is not eligible for return". We don't know why it can't be returned even after reviewing Amazon's return policy. Don't buy this product. We're going to have to replace the offending parts with another material. This just adds to the already very expensive initial purchase price and adding time making it a DIY fixer.

Save your money and do not purchase this item. It does have an unpleasant smell, and It is NON REFUNDABLE DUE TO HEALTH AND SAFETY REASONS. This information should have been disclosed on the add, which is a clear misuse of product details.

arrived defective, not-returnable!
Item arrived defective. two broken pieces. It could be fixed with few nails and screws. No problem so far but the assembly is literally impossible. I'm a handy man and I have assembled almost my entire household. I could not manage to assemble this! The rods can't be screwed into their place. The perches are not sturdy. The carpet are loosely attached to the perches. The whole thing looks unbelievably cheap. It's so expensive for the price. Ridiculously this item is not returnable. It looks like a scam business to me. Amazon took care of me and this is a reassurance otherwise that was a >$300 loss. I will dispose the item and recommend everyone not to waste your money on this...

Make it yourself before you spend the money
We were so excited for this. But it’s not as good as it looks in the photos and it’s super expensive. You could easily add leaves to a standard cat tower and be happier and spend way less.
