Juicer is very convenient
IT helps to quarter your fruits, read the manual helps a lot, esp recommendations for taste aka peeling your citrus will improve taste, it gives thourall knowledge on juicing and comes w recipe book. I love how easy it is to clean, theres no screen to scrub. you can pack it full of fruit and rather than feeding a small tube you can spend that time peeling cutting more fruits to go in! ITs a great machine Im the first to review it! ITs worth a try. I like mine. the biggness and how it churns is fascinating, its like you can walk away and let it do its thing. Ive even tried juicing smoothie and that worked. Ill try more produce as I go, and follow along the recipe book. It has a 15 year warranty you cant go wrong. Im glad I dont have to stuff apples down a small tube anymore! and the pulp is dry, sometimes i run it thru again, or use the pulp for recipes. I always compost!!! i grow my own foods it helps a lot. Did i say no screen to scrub? Cleanup is simple. It produces a lot of juice!

Not Bad /Upgraded from 3 star to 4 Star to a 5 star
I have to give credit where credit is due. This is an excellent machine. it's easy to clean. I've set aside all of my previous biases and discovered that this is an excellent product. This machine competes well with the Nama J2 and you will not be disappointed. I rewrote this review because my previous biases were not based on any experience or fact only what I perceived visually. This is an excellent choice. I am thoroughly satisfied. I hope you will be too.

Easy clean and easy assemble
A good dupe for the J2 Nama cold press juicer, it works exactly the same. My mom loves making her juice with it! It cleans easily and it can be assembled very easily.

Not worth the price
This was my very first juicer. I had trouble getting it started and had to reset my outlet a few times. Once it turned on I was disappointed with how wet the pulp was. I also did not like the many cleaning instructions listed in the manual. I bought a nama j2 to compare and I haven’t looked back since. I returned the omega the following week.

Easy Clean up? I question that.
I gave it a few less stars, because the auger has so many nooks, crannies and hard to get places, that you really need to shove your drying cloth into, that it doesn't tick the 'Easy to Clean' box. I find allot of debris all over the machine when I am finished, as well. But, it does juice, and slowly, which they tell me is better than fast. Right now, I am missing my dear old, easy to clean, Breville Elite Juicer, but I am sure I will get use to the supposedly healthier, more nutrient dense slow masticating Omega.

The best
I know it’s expensive , but it’s the best there is . It’s quiet , easy to clean and produce lots of juice , compared to other juicer .

Speed is the downside to this type of juicer, but it has other positive attributes that outweigh.
Masticating juicers are those that crush the veggies and fruits as opposed to grinding and pushing the pulp in a fine filter steel mesh. The problem with the grinders is that they tear the fruits and veggies apart and heat them as they spin at high speeds. They lose a good deal of the antioxidants, the real beneficial part of cold press juicing. It's said that the juice is best if you drink immediately or at least within a day's time. Masticating types on the other hand, crush the juices out and typically you get drier pulp. You preserve the antioxidants which can now last for 3-7 days depending on how fresh the produce was to begin with, although the juice should be refrigerated. A typical downside for the Masticating type is you need a lot of prep, cutting things small, and they are difficult to break down and clean. Often, they are constructed with tool grade steel parts, and it may take tools to break them down, and about an hour to clean them. Most juice bars use this type of juicer. I used a grinding juicer for years and used it twice a day cleaning each time about 10-15 minutes. This model of Masticating juicer had an advantage of easy cleaning. It may even easier than the grinding type. I had a lot less brush work as most things just rinsed off well. Another disadvantage of the grinder type is veggies like carrots the hard pulp is sometimes pushed through the mesh, and you get grit in your juice drink. Plus, it's less efficient you get mostly wet pulp that leaves a lot of juice wasted, and that can be expensive over the long term. There is a much higher up-front cost to this type, but it's worth it if you do a lot of juicing. I've tried a few hybrids, but they were not very good and harder to clean. I was considering a complaint about the pulp discharge cleaning, till I realized you could flip it open to access the inside, and clean or rinse out quite easy. The construction of this is hard plastics and I hope that will hold up over the long term. To that end, I would not want to throw in very hard food like large carrot sticks, rhubarb, or other things hard to crush. I'd use a little prep work to cut them down to size, but you can put a lot in the hopper. The drive parts are steel however, so they take more stress like in blenders, and I may have panned this had they been plastic. The first pass was three cored apples, and a bunch of red grapes. It probably took 10 minutes to juice and about the same to clean up. I got very dry pulp and about a quart of juice. I liked the reverse feature to help get every last bit. Unlike the grinding type I did not have my ears bleeding from the noise, and those types always tend to spray pulp around the juicing area, no issue this time. Juice was first rate, and I put it in a quart plastic bottle to drink at my leisure. My only concern is that of the long-term durability. If it does last at least 3 years, I'll consider it a win. If not, I may revisit this review. For now, recommended.

Worth the price
I just received this juicer a few days ago but I am already in love. It is a great alternative to the nama J2 for us Canadians. So far I have juiced carrots, oranges, ginger, spinach, celery, lemon, and cucumber and it has handled it all perfectly. It is very quiet and not as slow as I expected. It has very few pieces and it is very easy to clean. A couple of things to note if you are considering getting this juicer, it does tend to have a bit more pulp in the juice (you can strain this out if it bothers you) and leafy greens can get stuck if you do not have some heavier fruits or veggies on top.

Totally disappointed
I expected that, a kitchen appliance should be a little bit waterproof. How can it say in the instructions manual not to have water splash on the product body? This is kind of an inevitable occurrence in any family kitchen. It even says not to use it if juice splashes on it. Stuff like “have dry hands before you pull out plug from the outlet to prevent electric shock” concerns me. Also in the manual it says: - Do not use it for more than 30 minutes? - Do not control the power button with wet hands. POWER BUTTON? I mean I am concerned that one day I might forget and just try to turn it off while my hands are wet. - also I do not feel like it’s really is an easy prep machine when it says in his instructions to remove all hard unchewable seeds from citrus fruits like lemons. I just want to slice my lemon into half and just threw it into the juicer like the nama J2, that’s why I bought this effortless batch juicer. In addition, ginger is one of my favourite things to juice. The instructions say to peel the outer skin of ginger and cut it into small pieces. no way! How is this effortless? For leaf and stem vegetables, it says that you we should cut the ingredients into three CM or shorter pieces for extraction. I have not used it yet and I think that I am going to return it because I want something that I will enjoy to use, and it’s effortless, an appliance that is not scared of a little splash of water. One that will last in my kitchen and I feel safe using it around my children.
