Elemis products are the best.
Very moisturizing, and minimal scent. A little goes a long way. Love all of Elemis products.

From a woman in her 30's - works great, a little too pricey for replacing your daily moisturizer
I suppose when the product says "for mature skin", they aren't meaning my 30-something face, but eh, what's the harm? If anything, it'll be more gentle on my rosacea-prone, hormonal acne-prone, sometimes even eczema/psoriasis-prone skin and that's certainly not a bad thing in my book. I've been experimenting on numerous facial products just to find that perfect combination for my skin. My current cleanser is Obagi Gentle Rejuvenation Soothing Cleanser, and I've been enjoying the smooth application and how clean, but how moisturized my skin feels afterwards. In the mornings, following my cleansing routine, I was using the Vichy Idéalia Antioxidant Serum, which did an OK job. Nothing bad, but not something I need to rush out and purchase before I run out of product. And before that, I was using L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Cell Renewal Rosy Tone Moisturizer, which worked just as fine as the Vichy Serum at a more reasonable price. After plucking Elemis-Pro from the Vine, I replaced my Vichy moisturizer with this facial oil. I do adore the bottle shape and the dropper is fun - though it's incredibly challenging to get only 4 drops, and I don't feel like I get good coverage on my skin using only 4 drops (I end up wasting so much on my hands). However, the results after a week of using it are really nice - my skin has remained clear of blemishes and redness, and it continues to feel smooth. I haven't noticed any improvement on droopy jowls or facial lines, but then I am in my 30's and don't have a lot of those yet. But let's briefly talk about cost. Right now on Amazon, this is $79 for 0.5 fl.oz. That's a LOT of money for such a small bottle - even using only 3-4 drops per use! My recommendation is to use this maybe weekly or biweekly in addition to your daily moisturizer. I'm going to try that myself, to stretch out the use of this product and see if it's enough to make me want to plunk down $79 for a replacement bottle in the future.

Smells divine, feels silky but expensive.
This expensive little glass bottle with glass dropper is targeted towards 'mature skin'. I have been feeling older lately but in all honestly I am 36 years old. I do not know if I am the target and if I will see any difference. I use the oil every night right before bed and love how it smells. It is a light fragrance and feels so smooth. The directions do not actually state if this should be used in the morning, evening, under make-up etc. This leave me baffled but I still use it at night because it does leave a sheen and bit of oiliness. The three recommended drops for the face and neck seems to be just too little to accurately massage as it directs. I end up using about 5 drops for my whole face and neck. My skin does feel smooth but I do not know if I see any discernable difference in my nasolabial folds. This is the area that has begun to bother me as of late. My skin does feel oilier so I do not see myself using the pro-definition oil and applying moisturizer. I would apply it by itself. The product is expensive at 79 dollars for the little bottle but if it proves to work then I wouldn't see any reason not to continue the regimen. So this is my conondrum... does it really work for me at this age? Do I have mature skin? I have been getting more and more brown patches but then again I freckle and am very fair skinned. Only time will tell if it has helped the my non-existent wrinkles; I am more concerned with my frown lines, folds and loosening jowels. I would like to mention that I have not had any break-outs but my pores do get clogged as they normally do.

Excellent Quality Oils, Selected for Restorative Properties
As one of the other reviewers noted, since this oil is made in the EU instead of the United States, you can trust the ingredients to a much greater extent. The EU operates on the "precautionary principle," meaning companies bear the burden of proof to show ingredients are not harmful. America essentially follows the opposite course. Ingredients have to be shown as harmful to be removed. Another issue is that in America, many ingredients are considered 'trade secrets' that do not have to be disclosed... the most common being 'fragrance,' which can disguise a whole raft of poisons. Our system is based formulaic methodologies of cost-benefit analyses and quantitative risk assessments ostensibly offered to provide more 'sensible' and 'rational' solutions. In actuality, the system is motivated by a desire to accommodate industrial and producer interests not our health. That said, the Elemis oil is evidence that you don't have to rely on cancer-causing or toxic products to smooth out your wrinkles and restore essential oils to your skin. This product works fine. No added smells, so on that front it is very mild. As a practical guy, the bottle seems to me to be a bit over-kill. I'd prefer a reduced price with the oils stored in a plain little brown bottle (to protect from the sun) and just a screw off cap. Turn the bottle upside down briefly on a finger tip and you get a full dose without having to mess around with a dropper. However, I presume they have done the market research to know people are more attracted to this bottle shape.

Disappointing for an Elemis product.
Bought this as a switch up from Clarins orchid serum which I love but just wanted a change as I love Elemis. However firstly it arrived unsealed which is ALWAYS A RED FLAG, especially with Elemis who via shopping channels will take back their products. Compared to the cheaper Clarins oil this did not impress either scent wise or performance. It isn't bad just ridiculously expensive compared to cheaper products which work so much better.Clarins isn't cheap but let’s say better value. Still a fan of Elemis creams. However not receiving these products sealed should be REVIEWED IMO.

Happy Skin in a Bottle
Lush smoothing Facial for those dry indoor days to give skin a helping hand. Feels good half hour before bed time to leave time to soak in. Skin feels soft in the morning. Easy application I slide a pipet full across each cheek and slide upwards with 2 fingers. Repeat for forehead neck and chin. From inner eye to start of eyebrow lightly tap with your finger around the eye to the eyebrow start to release water retention to reduce bags and lines. Do your facial exercises then apply this oil. Happy skin.

Great for my face
Having used this for about a couple of months, I have noticed an improvement in my skin and deep wrinkles on the sides of my eyes feel and look less wrinkled, I use with Pro-Radiance Cream Cleanser and Cellular Recovery Skin Bliss Capsules. All make my skin feel lovely and not dry as it did before. Although expensive I love the feel and even converted my husband to use Elemis products.

Worth the investment
Love the way this absorbs in to my skin. Smells amazing and whilst it’s quite pricey, it does the job!!
