Very good

I love the interplay of colours here. I ordered in shiny black, which oddly enough aren't at all shiny but instead have a muted matte finish, but the olive green tips at the end of the temples really work with the colour. It's a subtle detail that won't jump out at you, but it's a good look. The quality of these glasses seems up to the standard I've come to expect from Timberland. I've handled better quality glasses, but at this price they're more than sturdy enough. I'm just not sure about the fit. The glasses are quite wide, far too wide for my face, so while I like the style I'm not sure I'll get much wear out of them. Overall, though, I'd be happy to recommend these things.

Slim Fitted

It comes in a chic recycled paper-like box that folds down like an origami. When it's folded it holds quite well and secure. The glasses are slim fitted, it is on the slimmer side of sunglasses which gives it more of a focused look. The ear loops are long and fits tightly enough for walks or even runs. When the glasses are folded it collapses deeply so it has a very thin presentation. Overall satisfied with this product and it seems to be made from thoughtful design and quality.

Incredibly lightweight and polarized

These Timberlands have really good optics and are polarized with full UV protection. They are also incredibly light. My wife likes light weight glasses, I like medium weight glasses. Since I bought these she's tried them and loves them so it looks like I will be buying a pair for her. For me, I like a little more weight to my glasses. I have a couple other sets of glasses so I like those better. These have better optics but those others are older so it's not a fair comparison really. If you like light weight glasses or if you medically need light weight glasses (like after facial surgery) then these are for you. My wife cannot stand heavy glasses or medium glasses with insufficient nose pads so for her these glasses are fantastic. Great features and incredibly light weight at a good price.

Fashionable splash of color

My biggest fear prior to receiving these shades was that the blue temples might give them too much of a frat boy look. As a middle-aged man, that is not the look I was aiming for. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the blue and tortoise shell combine together. They look stylish and fashionable rather than gaudy and garish. The temples are comfortable and the polarized lenses are pretty good as well. They're not glass top-quality polarized lenses but more than good enough for everyday wear and far better than bargain polarized lenses. The carrying case is environmentally friendly but also not the most durable. It's practically made from cardboard. It'll offer scratch and dent protection but little more pressure protection than a cloth pouch. Overall, I'm happy with these shades. They look stunning with casual outfits. Just gotta coordinate!

Really nice glasses for the price

These are not going to be the super durable glasses with the insane space age plastics and all that. They are lightweight, sturdy plastic-framed glasses with polarized lenses that will hold up well for most activities that aren't too strenous. They are easy to wear and the lens shape should be ok for most face shapes. They were a little snug at first but not bad after a few hours of wear. I ordered the Matte Grey, which is a rubbery-finish plastic. It will tug at your hair if you have longer hair and the matte finish can look bad in a hurry if you have a lot of sweat or dry skin. Just keep that in mind. I would have ordered the shinier finish ones had I known that would be an issue, but it's not a deal breaker. Even at the current price of 82 I would have liked to have seen a better sunglasses case with these. Even cheap sunglasses come with a better case- this thing is cardboard. And yes, it was enough to leave off a star.

Fragile and weird fit

I REALLY wanted to like these glasses, as they're from a reputable brand in Timberland and I've been lacking a good pair of shades for a while now. Unfortunately, these glasses feel very cheap and don't even sit on my face properly. The glasses feel very fragile, like they wouldn't even make the drop from my head to the floor in one piece. They also won't properly stay straight on my head, for some reason they want to sit into an angle which makes them looked crooked on my face. I thought maybe my head was weird or something so I let my wife try them on, and they did the same thing for her too. My thought is, if you've got a REALLY big head then they will probably be fine.. But for everyone else, steer clear of these glasses.

Timberland Men's Tba9268

Build quality of these glasses is very good with a solid and well made frame that is light-weight at the same time. And the look is sleek and has a timeless stylishness to it. But most importantly these glasses feel comfortable and fits me very well. The weather is always very sunny where I live and these pair of glasses do a great job of protecting my eyes when I am out and about. Overall I am pleased with the quality of these Timberland sunglasses.

made for giant headed people

If you have a giant head, these glasses are great. If you do not have a giant head, they are not so great. I have what I deem to be a pretty normal sized adult head. These glasses were so insanely loose that I could not wear them. No amount of bending could cure the issue (which says a lot about the glasses' strength). I then learned that by soaking in boiling hot water, the stems are pliable enough to adjust. After doing that a few times, I got them to where they will actually stay in place. With that adjustment made, they are pretty nice glasses. The lenses have good clarity and are not too dark. The glasses are super lightweight, so once you get the fit right you dont even really know they are on.
