Pleased so far--packaging aside

I have owned Flying Fisherman polarized glasses for years---couldn't beat the price given the hard use I give my sunglasses. They held up well and were cheap to replace when needed. So, when I thought I would spend a little more on sunglasses, I looked to FF and found this pair at a higher price. I am quite happy with them as a product----quite light, nice lenses and I expect they will last. I will probably buy another pair. I was a little disappointed when they showed up in their cloth case with only a plastic delivery bag around them. They arrived fine but a protective box of some sort seemed to be in order given the price. I passed on buying another similarly priced pair of glasses because of their fancy case....would rather the money went into the glasses----but to get them shipped almost "naked" seems going to far the other way. At any rate, they arrived in good shape and I am quite pleased with them after a few days use.

Great all-around sunglasses in addition to being great for fishing:

I bought these glasses to be my everyday sunglasses and haven't been disappointed. Previously, I used some Native Ripp XP polarized glasses for all of my outdoor needs (Kayaking, fishing, camping, hiking, biking, driving the car, etc), but Native no longer supports those glasses in terms of repair, so I decided to give these a try. The fit is excellent. I have a somewhat larger head and these fit very well. They are very lightweight but well constructed, and the mirror finish and polarization cuts glare extremely well. I've even worn these when running my string trimmer and despite getting hit with debris from yard work, they have yet to chip or scratch at all. They completely cut surface glare on the water as well. I was able to easily see trout near the surface of a pond I was hiking past that I wasn't able to see with the naked eye. I highly recommend them all around.

Lightweight Polarized

Had a similar pair under a different brand name (Calcutta) - these are exactly the same. Lightweight and the polarized lenses are on the money. Wish they were a pinch cheaper but regardless still think they were worth it.

Light, comfortable and affordable

These sunglasses are super comfortable. Coming from a similar priced pair of sunglasses bought while on vacation, those had pressure points around the ears after a few hours of wearing. The Flying Fisherman Cali glasses are so light you don't even notice you are wearing them. The polarized lenses are great for fishing, golfing, sporting events and driving. These sunglasses have performed well and are durable.

Close to Costa Del Mar / Maui Jim.. but not quite

Great shades for the money... solid value, decent looks & construction. Good visual quality. However from purely aesthetic perspective... the translucent blue lenses are not quite as attractive the Maui Jim / Costa Del Mar / Ray Ban type blue lenses. That is the only reason for 4 stars.

$70 too expensive.

For $70, I expect a sturdy pair of sunglasses. If you handed these to me with no knowledge of their MSRP, I would guess $10 as a fair price, and maybe $20 if they were marked up. These things are so flimsy that they arrived warped just from shipping IN A PROTECTED BOX. I had to bend them back into proper alignment. Did I mention they squeak and make poping noises when you open them? They sound like they're about to break every time you unfold the arms. The polarized lenses do a good job of protecting your eyes from strong light, but they give everything an annoying yellow/brown tint. The sky looks BROWN when you wear these. My cheap $20 glasses don't do that, so why does a $70 pair?

They talk good but don't walk the talk

Love wearing these glasses for 45 days. Then they got scratched. I was turned down to return these glasses because you have a 30 day policy. WHY advertise this on your sales site? Lightweight and scratch resistant AcuTint polarized lens system eliminates glare and sharpens optics 35 times stronger than glasses or CR39 I have NEVER had any pair of sun glasses scratch. I use them all the time. These had to be defective because none of the reviews say anything about scratching. I bought them because they WERE scratch resistant. and now you won't take them back because it's longer than 30 days. Got them in July and it's only August and too late to return defective glasses. You show on your description the amazing scratch resistant covering now to f ind out that is only good for 30 days?

Quality sunglasses at a realistic price

These are high quality sunglasses with performance nearly identical to other brands that charge hundreds. I really like this particular model because they are super lightweight, which is good for reducing irritation on long drives. The amber lenses are also very good for driving, because they reduce eye strain and also don't block too much light for driving around dusk or dawn.
