Excellent fit and finish.
Like the fit and the optically clear lenses.

Best Magpul eyewear offering
I've tried almost all of Magpul's eyewear offerings and even have 2 of them (Terrain and Explorer) and they are all designed for definitely Caucasian features (i.e. high nose bridge). The curved ear stems also make it very uncomfortable unless your head/ears fit that specific design. The Radius is the first Magpul offering with somewhat straight ear stems, so they actually sit on my face comfortably. The only negative aspect is that they too are also designed for those with tall nose bridges. I think with Oakley's line of Asian-Fit sunglasses that they begun to understand that there's a bigger market when they design all of their eyewear to fit the happy medium. Oakley's Ballistic (MIL-PRF) line that includes Det Cord, M Frame (2.0/3.0/Alpha) all fit those with shorter nose bridges without any problems. I even have Wiley X Romer 3's that fit me just fine. I think Magpul didn't understand this design because it is their initial set of eyewear offerings, so they just designed them for taller nose bridges (maybe their primary demographic?). So that being said, the Radius sits on my cheek bones and partially on my nosebridge. There's not much grippy material on the nosepads even for those with taller nose bridges. They will grip the temples fairly snugly though. The lenses seem thick enough for ballistic MIL-PRF protection, but they carry no markings of any kind. So if you're working in a shop that requires Z87+ markings on the lenses, you're out of luck here. Maybe Magpul doesn't understand this, but Wiley X has a bunch of markings on their lenses (Z87+, CE, etc...) and Oakley started doing the Z87+ markings on their ballistic lenses recently (Det Cords didn't carry them on all varieties until maybe 1-2 years ago). Magpul only has Z87+ molded into their frames, which doesn't meet most shop safety requirements these days. I am also somewhat amazed at how Magpul is able to meet MIL-PRF testing requirements with their "iridium" and polarized lens offerings. When I spoke with ESS and Oakley, I found out that the iridium and polarization process prevents the lens from meeting the MIL-PRF requirements (which constitutes launching a FSP at the lens to simulate IED fragmentation). Z87+ is simply high speed Z87, still in the realm of launching BB pellets vs. the IED FSP from MIL-PRF testing. You can easily tell the difference between Gucci show Oakley lenses from MIL-PRF ballistic Oakley lenses from the thickness difference. The FDE Radius with mirror polarized lenses provide a bronze filtering tone which offers great contrast for driving and general use. The polarization isn't too annoying as I am able to read most screens without any problems inside the car. The lenses seem easy to clean and aren't that easy to scratch. The mirror polish and the interior lens color gives it an almost bluish mirrored appearance versus a black iridium finish. The Magpul Radius FDE looks more like a dark coyote brown (which is a good thing). I've had Oakley's FDE frames before and they are way too bright except on the M Frame Alpha (which looks more like dark coyote with a tint of OD green). I think the dark coyote and OD green blend of "FDE" is the way to go for eyewear frames or maybe just plain OD green. Wiley X's anti-fog coating has been difficult to care for as they "stain" and scratch fairly easily. Oakley's anti-fog on their M Frame Alpha lenses don't seem to last very long with daily use, although their Det Cords have held up well. Overall: 4/5 stars. If they added anti-fog and a better nose bridge design, I'd give it 5/5 stars. One of their best eyewear offerings. Magpul needs to re-design the frames so they fit a compromise between a high nose bridge and a lower nose bridge. Oakley has learned this and implemented it on most of their frames in the past 5-6 years, as did Wiley X.

Worth the cost
I was hesitant to spend this much but yet again it's true - you get what you pay for. Got tired of my $20 S&W's fogging up to the point of zero visibility so took a chance on something more expensive. After a quick test doing a 20 minute run on the treadmill and lots of sweat, vision remainded crystal clear and I'm sold. There was just the smallest bit of condensation at the top of the frames but again, no impact on visibility AT ALL. Pretty comfortable and awesome hard case too. Pick up a pair.

Not an $80 pair of glasses
And they say nice. They seem fine. They've got fancy packaging but my first thought when I put them on was wow. These don't at all feel like an $80 pair of glasses. There's nothing at all to grip the sides of your head even just a little bit. They're slick all the way down the arms, which seems like a terrible oversight. Nose piece is okay but definitely not great. We'll see how they do with the range, but so far I'm wildly underwhelmed.

Well worth the price
Thumbs up on these shades. Already a big fan of Magpul, so took a chance on these glasses. Initial take is "right on man!". Fit perfect, very light weight and tint is just right for what I wanted. I have oakleys, ray bans, maui jims, and other top quality sets. For a shootin spectacle in this price range...impressive. Will follow up after some use

Fogs a lot
They fit nice, quality is good and Daka case is great but… glass fogs almost within a couple of minutes. I really wanted to use them and tried them in different weather conditions but it’s all the same — they fog almost instantly for me unlike any other glasses I used. Really a miss from Magpul

Weak polarization
These are decently comfortable and fit as well as i could hope for ordering online, my only real complaint in that area is they won't stay put on top of my head but since they do stay put on my face I won;t hold much of that against them. My big dissatisfaction is from the polarization, it just isn't very strong, just barely enough to see that there is some. It might be nice seeing the phone regardless of angle but I'd rather cut through haze or be able to see the fish when I pay a premium price for polarized lenses.

Nice glasses and they come with a nice case.

Nice but ...
Good quality. Can get uncomfortable if wear for an extended period of time, especially relative to say, Oakley's with the soft temples.
