Top heavy, tight at the leg. Fabric is nice. Not enough pockets.

My son has an Oakley snowboard jacket and thought I get one for myself. I am petite so always have issues with snowboard jackets. The fabric is great, soft, sleek, water resistant. I found this jacket to be top heavy. Too wide on the top, lots of room under the arm pits, which was overwhelming for me. The bottom was too tight for my legs. I think this jacket would work if you had broad shoulders, top heavy and no hips. I have hips and wear impact shorts, so hard to zip up, it fit but hips were tight. I took my board out and mimic the movements and found it restricting. Would have worked if the zipper was two way. The Velcro closure on the top was annoying, front zipper would have been enough. Needs more pockets. I like an exterior chest pocket, this jacket does not have one. It has two side pockets, one arm pocket for pass and the inside pocket is on the right side, so ideal for left handed persons, I am right handed. Ideally it should have two interior pockets, one on each side. My Burton jacket has a media pocket for for iPhone so I can listen to music when I ride, this jacket does not. It’s a nice jacket, I really like the fabric, soft and supple and water resistant. I also would like heartier zipper and zipper pulls. The color is nice too, a different shade of purple from my son’s mens Oakley Jacket from this season. Jacket is dainty for me. I I returned it and went with a slimmer fit with a two way zipper from Volcom.
