not worth money and really heavy

High quality product and easy to install!

I was nervous about this light because there weren’t really any specific reviews or real life photos. I ordered the 9-inch but there is also a 13-inch. The 9 inch was really perfect. It puts out a nice, bright, warm light which fit with the other 2 lights I’d just installed this week, too. It was the easiest install out of all of the lights I’ve installed this week (2 pendant lights and a large chandelier). The only thing to note is that the glass part of the fixture is a heavy, thick glass. You twist it on to the mounting plate and hold it with a teeny tiny hex screw. The instructions said to go counter clockwise, but when I did that, the glass slipped out into my hand. I almost had a heart attack! Not the thing you want to drop and shatter on your floor, especially at this high price. When I twisted it clockwise, it went in perfectly. I am just hoping that tiny hex screw is tight enough! We liked it so much that we ordered 2 more for the remaining 2 hallway lights we’re replacing. Definitely recommend!!

High quality

This light changed my life. We have an old house from the 50s and had original fixtures that had metal grates on the sides that were really preventing the light from getting anywhere. We suffered in the dark for over a decade and now that I have these I am so pleased. We put them on a dimmer and they are the most pleasant kind of light. They look smooth and sleek and make my ceilings look taller, they are modern but still have a nice mid century vibe in keeping with the house. I know they’re not cheap but I’m going to replace the hallways and bedrooms with them. The light is so nice. We are artists and always persnickety about the quality of light and this is just the best of both worlds, very bright but with a tiny bit of warmth. They make my whole house look upscale and upgraded! It’s absolutely delightful. I highly recommend these.

HEAVY.

This thing is a beast. I'm a contractor and this is the highest quality diffuser I have ever seen. Solid thick heavy glass. HOWEVER... If you don't have a ceiling box that is braced and rated for a ceiling fan, I wouldn't buy this light. It is simply too heavy to hang from the standard cheap boxes I usually encounter during renovations.

I LOVED IT… but I live with a miser who made me return it. Great quality, maybe a little pricey but I think it is worth it.my hubby does not.

Easy to mount. Great color temperature. Well made. What more could you want? I've had this light for over a year now without any problems and I still think it's one of the best looking lights I have in the house. As for the the contractor who reports that it is "heavy" note that his review is for the 11" version. The 9" version did not strike me as much heavier than a normal light, if any.
