My son is quite grown up for a bottle yet he won't take a sippy cup or any kind of cup for that matter. I purchased one of these cups a month ago from my local super store as I liked the silicon spout and decided to give it a try too. To my surprise he liked this one and started drinking from it instantly. That's why I decided to buy another one. Just out of curiosity I started reading the reviews and saw many people complaining of leaking. I think I know the solution...the first time I put together all the parts of the cup, it leaked badly but I was able to figure out the reason after a few minutes of inspection. The trick is in putting the parts together. While assembling try to attach the holder to the spout part. There are two grooves on the inner side of the holder which fit perfectly to the two projections on the ring. Once done attach the assembly to the bottle. It should stop leaking. I am happy to find these cups as finally we can think of leaving our bottles behind. UPDATE 11/28/2012 i received the product yesterday and slightly disappointed to see it actually is different from the nuby cup i already have given the fact that i paid the same price. it doesn't have the measurement markings as the other one has and is smaller in size (2 oz less). the spout portion has tow parts while the previous one has three (and the groove thing i explained earlier). but the holder-ring assembly have two projected parts and the spout, two groves to fit in, and when fitted properly it doesn't leak, so not bad at all. only thing is i have a better cup than this one from the same manufacturer.

great for learning!!
This is an awesome cup for learning. My daughter figured this cup out in 5 minutes and it's the first cup she ever tried. I gave her a nuby superspout cup a few days later and she did't like it. This cup doesn't spill and is very easy for your baby to grasp(My daughter was 4 months when she learned to use it). The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is the fact that you can only use it for a couple of months. The cup was in great condition, but when she was 6.5 months old she could pull the spout down while drinking from this and spill it everywhere. However, at that point she was happy with the superspout cups which she can't do that with. So while you can't use this cup indefinitely, it is still a great cup for younger babies(4-6 months) to start with. It is also easy to clean as it only has 3 pieces and can run through the dishwasher. And you can throw it in the diaper bag and not worry about spilling. For this price I had no problem at all with buying this for a couple months of use and then moving to another cup.

I prefer his other cups.
I tend to skip this cup most of the time in favor of my son's other cups. It's not terrible, but it's enough of a pain that I'd prefer to use the other cups he has if I can. Pros: It holds a lot of liquid. Seems like it might be easier for a young baby to hold. It doesn't leak. Pretty sturdy.. as it should be since toddlers pitch everything onto the floor. Only has 3 parts to wash. Cons: The suction in this cup is a little weird. My son will take a few sips and the whole top starts to suction in, and it becomes harder and harder for him to get liquid out. I end up having to open it, let it equalize, and screw it back together while listening to his frustrated crying. Ugh. The handles kinda suck. It seems like it actually makes it harder for him to hold it since he was already used to cups with no handles (he's 18 months). Worse yet, it really only works as a meal time cup, since it doesn't fit in his stroller or car seat cup holders. I only have so many of the more expensive "spill proof" cups and I prefer to use those when out and about. Can't choose your color. This isn't that big of a deal to me, but carting around this pink sippy cup for my son feels a little cringe-worthy. Not enough to make me stop, but it's a minor annoyance.

Great first cup to learn with
My son is 6 months old, and his pediatrician told us he could start practicing with a sippy cup. This is the first one we've tried, and he's taken right to it. I don't know if it's his superior intellect, the intuitive design of the cup, or maybe both, but he has no problem slugging down water from it with no leaks. He's a breastfed and bottle fed baby, so the silicone spout is an easy transition. Other reviewers say that the trick to avoid leaks is in the assembly, and it doesn't take a rocket surgeon to see that you have to just line up the notches on the cup and silicone spout to put them together correctly. It was obvious at first glance, so I don't know why so many others have a problem with it. At any rate, it's a good size, well proportioned, light, and comes with a lid for transporting. Once my son is sitting up and figures out the mechanics a little better, we might explore other cups, but for now this one is great for him to just play with and become comfortable with.

LOVE THIS STYLE OF CUP!!!
Easy to clean!!! And I absolutely love that it comes with a lid! Kids are a must for me! So when I saw it. Was a total plus!!!

Not good!
I read a review where I saw someone comment that these weren’t genuine nuby, I think I have to agree! I’ve had other nuby beakers and not had a problem apart from sharp little teething destroying the mouth piece! But on the inside of the mouth piece on these there are some deep holes and once liquid gets you have a very tough job getting it, I had to get a toothbrush on the case! As I have time for that! I used it to give my little girl tea so I could see the tea in the holes, plus she could get the liquid out by turning it upside down and squashing the mouth piece on the kitchen floor/carpet - so annoying! Hahahaha!

Not convinced these are real nuby!
Not entirely sure these are genuine nuby cups. We have purchased previous bunt cups that are definitely nuby and these don’t seem up to the same quality. They air lock every time daughter drinks from them which means she has to stop drinking take cup out of her mouth and let the spout expand again before being able to drink more. They do work but they are either defective nuby and seller is flogging cheap or they are fake branded. Or we were unfortunate and just got 2 defective ones.

Great cups
My just turned 3 year old should be way too old for this, but when it comes to the white stuff this is all he will use! I think he finds comfort holding the handles so I'll continue to buy. These are a great price, shame you can't choose the colours but no big deal great value.

Perfect but incorrect colour
I ordered one of these for my daughter. I have nothing bad to about the item. But I was a little disappointed as I ordered “pink” and was delivered “blue” but hey! It’s only a colour ????

The best cup we've tried
I absolutely love this! My little boy has used it for months and it's still great. Non spill, easy to clean (unlike some other non-spill ones) and great cover that stays on well, so we always use it when out and about.
