Does the job for which it was designed

It does what it is supposed to do at a very good price. Have also purchased an inexpensive non-contact voltage tester.

Easy to use

This was easy to use and provided helpful information. I didn't double check it with some other measuring device, but I assume it's accurate. I can use it over and over again, so it's a worthwhile tool for my toolbox.

Does what it’s supposed to do

Does exactly what it is supposed to do, the way it is supposed to do it. Seems relatively durable so I keep it in my tool pouch. The only negative is it’s not very bright, but it is bright enough to see clearly. In fact, it is just like the last one (like this) that I bought 30 years ago.

This one's actually bright enough to see, but the probe tips are purposely dull, so you can't pierce insulation.

Just right

I read in reviews that the light wasn’t bright enough, but I gave it a go and it works great. I needed to test 2 pronged outlets in an old house to see if the screws were grounded. It was easy to use and helpful.
