Great alternative head lamp
This item is quite small and lightweight. Barely tskes up any room. It achieves its purpose. You have to either have it slanted weird on your eyebrows for it to tilt more down in your line of sight to see what you are looking at. You can adjust the light slightly in the elastic, however with any significant movement of your head it "readjusts" and doesn't quite point at what you are looking at. Unless you do what I previously stated and wear it on your eyebrows. Overall it's a great backup light holder for when your headlamp goes dead. I wouldn't make this your main head lamp (holder), unless you like to be pushed to annoyance.

This head strap is cool and versatile
I never thought I would like this light but it is easy to put on and with the velcro it is fast to adjust. Hold headlamp well. I just wish I could mount a light on both sides.

Nice to have and it works pretty good too.
I have found it to be pretty good to shine light on what I am working on. The big thing is the strap is easy to carry and quick to set up. It takes very little space in my pouch. It grabs the light tight [I use a 1" dia light]. This all means that I always have it on me, so I always have a way to hold my flashlight. This makes it a very functional tool for those of us on the move.

Good for emergency, but not for normal use - Fenix is better
I like to have flashlights stashed at various places around my house in case of a power outage because I live in a tri-level. Since I have a toddler at home, I also want to be able to use my flashlight hands free. I had picked up several Leatherman flashlights (max 100 lumens) on clearance at Marshalls a few years ago, so I thought to have them in headbands for when the lights go out. I purchased the Fenix headband, which is great quality, but on the expensive side. When I discovered this Nite Ize version for a fraction of the cost, I thought I would pick up a few for my various flashlights. Since I paid $15 for the flashlights, at around $5 each, these Nite Ize headbands basically give me a 100 lumen headlamp for about $20. So for the money and my intended purpose (emergency use), they are fine. However, if I intended to use this on a regular basis, I would choose the Fenix headband over this one. Yes, it is 4x the cost, but completely worth it for several reasons: 1. The Fenix band is elastic, while the Nite Ize band is not. The Fenix band is what you think of when you consider most handlamps. However, the Nite Ize band is just a piece of webbing you attach to your head with Velcro. It is scratchy, not flexible, not particularly comfortable. But it will hold a flashlight onto your head if you strap the Velcro tight enough. 2. You cannot adjust the angle of the flashlight with the Nite Ize band. The Fenix flashlight holder rotates up/down, so you can adjust where you want to point the flashlight. The Nite Ize flashlight holder is basically a piece of elastic sewn onto the strap. It will always be in alignment with the strap. This is especially problamatic if you want to face straight but want the light to point downward. 3. The Fenix flashlight holder will likely last longer. If you plan on using this on a regular basis, then I think the Fenix strap will be a better value over the long run. If the elastic or the Velcro in the Nite Ize band fails then the whole product is done. If the strap with the Fenix band fails, then you can disconnect the flashlight holder and use it on a different strap. 4. The Fenix band comes with 2 flashlight holders, so you have a spare if one breaks. The holder is very durable, but it can break, especially if you over tighten it. I have a a strap from an old headlamp and was able to attach the spare flashlight holder to it with no problem, so in essence its like I got two Fenix bands. Overall, the main reason to choose the Nite Ize band is its cost. At $5 and for emergency purposes, it is perfectly fine. But for regular use, I think the benefits of the Fenix band far outweighs its higher cost over this product.

triple flashlight for headlamps
These are a bit small and finicky to adjust. But they have bands for 3 flashlights. One each side of head and one on top of head.

Nice. Good price. Needs improvements.
What I like: 1. Comfortable enough to wear on your head for a few hours at a time and sits tight. 2. Snugly fits my convoy 18650 flashlights S2 and S3. Has a second loop to hold smaller 16340 flashlights. Any flashlights which have a head any bigger than the body will not fit, will probably touch your skin while they get hot. 3. Velcro in the back makes its easy to put on and take off. 4. Inexpensive. Gets the job done. What I don't like: 1. Not comfortable enough to forget that you're wearing this on your head. Have to suppress the urge to adjust it. The head band is rather rough and not really comfortable to wear. 2. The elastic band which holds your flashlight in will loosen up if you keep your flashlight in all the time. 3. The Velcro in the back, being Velcro will eventually lose it's grip and start loosening on you. 4. I wish they had stitched another elastic loop on to the other side so that you can have one flashlight on each side of my head.

Excellent.
Simple and excellent, just what I needed. It fits my tiny Thrunite Ti3 and their Archer 2 AA torch too. Only slight niggle is that the Velcro could probably do with being stronger. I will amend this review if it fails in the future. I can recommend this, though be aware it is not as versatile as a proper head torch. It does however allow you to use a normal torch for more than one thing.

Good but flawed.
NiteIze torch headband is a well made and simple item; a good quality piece of nylon webbing with Velcro and elastic. It has a seemingly unbelievable design flaw in my view: torch loops need to be angled downward by around 35* or be adjustable, not in line with headband. I have resewn mine, fixing the elastic to hold my little torch at an angle that suits me. Good delivery considering from US. Easy to modify with nail scissors, needle and poly cotton or such.

Best thing I've bought this year
Works brilliantly with my mini Maglite (2xAA size). No more clamping the torch between my teeth or trying to pin it between shoulder and ear. Wish I'd bought one of these years ago

Perfect for the purpose
Easy to adjust, sufficiently firm to ensure the torch follows the movements.

essential accessory
These are such a useful addition to a certain high quality small torch I've bought several of from Amazon. I've got a strap at home, one in my toolbox at work, and I've given one to my son.
