After years of struggling with cystic acne and nothing worked until this bar soap!

The only thing that really worked for me without a doubt was Doxycycline but this is the next best thing. I was about to lose hope, all the face washes I bought and I was still breaking out. My breakouts are not like normal break outs, they are huge cystic acne that is truly embarrassing and painful. I don’t usually leave reviews but if I can help someone with this struggle, I’ve done my part. Step 1: I leather the bar soap on my face and rub it in circular motion with my hands for a little over a minute or longer. Focus on the nose and cheeks area, you really want to get all that gunky oil out. Don’t do it for less than one minute (if you really really want to make sure your pores are clean). After that rinse it thoroughly, get all the soap out. Step 2: I bought those 50-count Disposable Compressed Facial Sponges. I add 10% Acne Free Brand Benzoyl Peroxide to the little sponge and rub it in circular motion for a little over a minute, make sure my pores absorb it. Then let it sit for another minute and rinse it. I throw those sponges out after a day. I shower twice a day and I throw it out after I use it for a second time. Acne has bacteria and it spreads, you don’t want to be reusing the same sponge. If you can also get a face towel to dry your face only and change it up every 2 days, that would be ideal. If 10% Benzoyl is too strong for you, use 5% instead. I cannot use Salicylic Acid, it makes me break out terribly and it’s not the purging, I can use it for 2-3 months and I will still break out so Benzoyl is my life saver. My pores never felt so tight and clean before. This neutrogena soap is cheap and truly amazing. It cleanses your pores beautifully and the benzoyl kills the acne. Great combo. Give it 2-3 weeks to start noticing a difference. I have tried everything under the sun (glycolic acid, peels, Differin etc etc and nothing worked like this).

Gentle but powerful clean

I purchased this soap to use for my face and this product doesn’t disappoint! It cleanses my skin and I noticed that my pores are tighter. And the price is cheap for a quality facial soap! I recommend this product if you want an affordable but quality cleanser that doesn’t dry skin.

I suffer from rosacea and cystic acne and OMG this is my holy grail item!!! My face always feels clean and I’m afraid to share it on tiktok because I know it will be hard to find! I will be gate keeping this!!!

Better than your run-of-the-mill glycerine soap

After using and enjoying the Neutrogena bar for a while, I happened to come across a glycerin bar in a local store and decided to try it instead of the Neutrogena bar. Big mistake! The other bar had an unpleasant scent, compared to this fragrance-free bar. The other bar didn't lather up nearly as well as this bar. The other bar didn't ever rinse as well, leaving me as clean-feeling as this Neutrogena bar. I could hardly wait to switch back! Now my face is happy again!

Great Value but Stings Eyes

It’s hard to beat the value of this bar & if you’re on a budget, it’s a great option that won’t irritate your skin. It removes make up, doesn’t break me out, and you can’t beat the price. I will say however even though I got the unscented version, it has a “garlic” scent that makes washing my face not so enjoyable, but the scent doesn’t stick on your skin or anything. Additionally, it does burn your eyes easily so I wouldn’t recommend using this on younger kids. Otherwise, is a perfectly good option for a basic cleanser that gets the job done.

BEST FACE SOAP EVER

Used this for years, even before celebrity endorsements from the USA. In fact I have decided not to tell you how clean it leaves you skin feeling, nor will I tell you how easily and cleanly it rinses. Finally, there is no way I'd even let on that it's so good for your skin, better than any lotion or potion you might use that it makes you look younger. Ok well maybe that last sentence is a little on the extravagant side but people tell me I look 10 years younger than I am and cannot believe it when I say I only use soap and water on my face.

Absolutely Amazing Cleansing bar for sensitive skin

Brilliant product. I absolutely love it and will be using instead of a cleanser from now on! This cleansing bar (original formula) has really helped sort out my sensitive skin which is prone to dryness and redness - and my skin is looking and feeling great now. As this was a pack of 3, I gave one of the bars to my friend to try (she has skin breakouts from time to time) and the other to my mum (who is 86 and has allergy problems). Both are raving about it and have asked me to get more! We all highly recommend it. Please keep supplying it Amazon!

Still the best

For my money, absolutely the best non soap cleansing bar. I use it instead of shaving foam and get a perfect smooth shave with both electric and manual. Not the cheapest but worth every extra penny. Pity its not so easy to get a hold of now!

Absolutely brilliant soap, noticed skin looking brighter also immediately, couldn't believe it & from first use my skin felt perfectly clean, no residue, just clean. Up until now I have used face washes including Neutrogena ones,none even come close to this. This is also brilliant for removing foundation, great product, can't praise it enough & lasts quite a long time to, what's not to like ????
