Very sturdy plant bracket
I was looking for a nice sturdy bracket to add a hanging basket to a steel post in my backyard and found these at a reasonable price. They are even nicer than I was expecting and very heavy duty. If you plant hanging baskets with flowers you know the basket might weigh 20# on its own with soil and plants but might double (or more) in weight when you give it a good watering. These are holding up with absolutely no sign of strain. What I didn’t realize if that they’re coated in a heavy black rubberized coating, rather than a more traditional painted finish. The only issue I had was that because I bolted them to my post, I had to use a drill bit to widen the prepunched holes as they had closed up considerably from the excess rubber coating. A very simple process but want to make you aware that could be an issue for you as well. Very pleased with the quality.

Heavy duty hanger
Needed to get a bracket for a super heavy hanging plant and this did the job. My husband did use a hex head lag screw and drilled the holes slightly larger. Worth the time and effort as they have held up beautifully.

Good value
I have mine mounted on my deck into 6x6 treated wood posts. I have chimes weighing approximately 55 to 75 pounds on the two I have purchased. I am looking to purchase a couple more. The one I had in there before said it could handle 75 pounds, same post, but it ripped out because of the screws. These are larger and more sturdy and go well into the post. If needed I could add another cross brace to make sure the screws do not come out but so far no worries. The metal where the chimes are hung is strong enough to handle them.

Strength & Proudly sisplayed!
I have 7 hanging baskets out front, but filled, they are heavy, and 4 of them were on flimsy brackets. When watered, their respective weights increased even more and those prior brackets bended.. My new brackets are STRONG and STURDY and do not yield to heavy loads.! They will hold even bigger & heavier baskets of flowers next year.
