Works good

Just as expected.

The right thickness and stickiness to work for my needs. A DIY storm window for screened room fell during high wind. This tape made a quick repair that’s not an eyesore. I expect it will hold, given the brand and quality.

Protects the paint on electric wheelchair

I used this to protect the paint on an electric wheelchair on the bar across the top of the seat upon which things are suspended. It kept the paint from getting scuffed or scratched. I wrapped it as one would wrap bike handlebars. On the edges where things rubbed, it had curled up in places. Those areas had some residue when I took the tape off. But, I am glad that I found this tape!

Just WOW!

We got hit by three hurricanes summer before last. After the dramas of trying to get a new roof and a new fence built during a pandemic, and Aside from all the clean-up leaving me shell shocked, the experiences opened my eyes to the smallest places where rain might get in. We have these panes on the back of the house with frames that have cracked with age. No sealant has ever worked or held up. But this repair tape has been just the ticket. What a relief to have finally found something that works. UPDATE: Months have passed since I applied this tape inside and out, and it is still water-tight. We have had some big storms, with wind and rain coming straight at the panes I taped. No water got in. Impressive.

Patched up my broken fog light

I trust the 3M brand so I bought this repair tape to patch up a broken fog light. It was a pretty large hole, 2" around. The tape doesn't leave any residue which is good as it took me a couple tries to perfect the patch without any bubbles in the "hole". The tape picks up fingerprints too easily, even while wearing nitrile gloves. The patch has seen rain and freezing temperatures, and it's still holding up strong. I'm pretty pleased with my cheap fix.

Stretchy!

What I liked is how flexible this tape is. It works easily and adheres like packing tape or better, but is highly flexible and stretches well. Originally I was looking for vinyl repair tape for a car interior but now I have used it for several purposes. Good stuff.

Amazing

This tape has been holding my passenger side mirror on for MONTHS after an act of vandalism. Rain, snow, ice, nothing has made it come off! Works great!

It works, so far...

I have this on a canopy...in full sun,weather. You cannot see it and it seems to stick well. BUT...the cost is OUTRAGEOUS....loses stars for that

Did not do what I hoped for.

I tried to batch a hole in the ribber gasket of my washer machine, it did not work out, peels off next day, hot water and soap is not helping, did not use it other things yet.

Not good

I bought it because of the brand is well known. It’s not strong enough to fix or patch anything. This is a bit better than packing tape very disappointed with 3M as this is not to be used as described.

Didn’t work

Used it to repair a rain sheet and don’t hold up at all.
