They work great at what they're made for!
They work great for tying up plants and bundling cables, which is what they're made for. It seems like a lot of people buy them without understanding what they are. They have hooks on one side and loops on the other because they are made to go around things and stick to themselves.

VERY STRONG
For my purposes, this velcro didn't work. I needed a strap to go around the back of a towel to keep it secured to a lounge chair. The velcro was so strong, it kept catching and snagging the fabric, basically ruining the towel. I had intended to do this for four towels, but ended up having to remove it from the one I did use it on because it was just TOO effective. If that's what you're looking for, this velcro is for you! If not, be careful! It will catch on everything in its path (including my skort, which it also snagged!).

Great for Organizing Cables...NOT for sewing
I bought this to attach some end pillows that kept falling off my couch. A needle will not penetrate the hard plastic back. I finally made it work by DRILLING holes and tacking it in several places to the couch and pillow.

Wish it was the one inch size but it wasn't available this time.
Love this stuff....use it all over the place. Bought every color that Amazon had on line...in the one wrap fashion here. Red, blue, yellow, green and also of course black. But I couldn't locate a source for the black 1 inch which I have a little left of. I also go through the 1.5 inch black pretty fast. But I needed a narrower tape for a customized and flexible cart box I made for our bike trailer..and this was all I could find...in colors was cute. So went aheand and splurged on all of them. It's got lots of uses as means to hold together or rolled up yoga mats and my two nail-bed mats and this also allows me to hold the two nail mats to my leg to help with edema I have. A video showed using one mat to do that but didn't show how one was to keep it rolled around the leg. One Wrap to the rescue. Good stuff....it's unclear if this is true Velcro but it works pretty much the same. Wrap yoga mats, sleeping mats, sleeping bags, quilts, throw blankets traveling. Holds cart box to bike cart and did I mention it's all adjustable everytime a perfect fit. Not just for wires around the house. And an extra plus our cats don't seek it out like they do rubber bands. I've sewn with it too. And it's just good stuff. And comes now in these colors...oh how fun.

Good deal.
As some of the reviewers already stated, the quality isn't consistent. there are some hard spots. the rolls are big enough that those parts are insignificant for me. I ordered 2 rolls thinking I'd need more than one. Good deal for what I paid for it and hoping these last. Not the strongest hold, but since I won't be taking them on and off very often, I expect them to last.

perfect for what I needed
I needed something to affix to the visor in my car so my car permit would stay in place. I tried elastics, but they would dry out with the heat and cold. Tried a hairband, but again it dries out with the heat/cold. So far this has held and is doing the job. It has only been a few weeks, but since it doesn't contain elastic I have high hopes.

Excellent quality at a great price
Forget spending 3x on Velcro or 3M hook & loop tape. This stuff is great, perfect for clean cable wraps in the server room or under a desk.
