My favorite way to wax
I’m a 10 year self-waxing veteran, and these are my go-to wax strips. Used properly, they’re pretty effective, and no more painful than any waxing is naturally. Here are some tips! 1. Heat with a space heater or hair dryer. I like the space heater, because you can leave it on the whole time you’re working. Warming with your hands would be difficult. 2. They trim to size beautifully when cold. I cut mine down into all sorts of sizes and do my eyebrows, lip, and chin. No irritation on more sensitive skin (beyond the irritation from ripping hair out by the root, that is!) I would spot check somewhere discreet the first time using them. 3. Remove extra wax left over on skin with an oil. I use coconut for my body and jojoba for my face. The wipes are fine, I just don’t tend to use them. 4. Exfoliate, but not too well. They work best when they’re not picking up extra dead skin around where you’re waxing, but exfoliate too well and it’ll stick to your skin too much. Dry your skin thoroughly before using them. Basically, warm them well enough and use good waxing technique and these are great. I buy them regularly and don’t see that changing anytime soon.

Worked but painful
As someone who regularly receives wax treatments from a salon, I cannot compare my waxing skills to that of my favorite wax person. Skills aside, I'll do my best to describe my experience with this product. First, this is the first time I have used any at home wax products. I honestly chose this product over the competitors because of the price, and it was Prime eligible whereas the others were looking to ship 2-3 weeks from now. The coronavirus has me quarantined and I was not willing to wait that long. I used this product to do a full bikini wax. Second, it came a day early so kudos to the company for fast shipping! Third, for the nitty gritty details... I had a hard time warming it between my hands effectively so I used my hair dryer on the low setting for about 5 seconds to warm the wax. This made it much easier to separate the two pieces and to re-heat the second strip which I left lying on the counter awaiting its turn. Fourth, my hands got very sticky. This then transferred to the hairdryer and everything else I touched (wall for balance etc.). Fifth, the wax strip did not remove all the hair the first go. I was able to re-apply the same strip (unused area) to remove additional hairs. Even though the instructions advised to not re-wax the same area, I was left with either remaining very splotchy looking, or using additional strips to go over the same area again. I chose the latter which may also contribute to some of the below issues. Sixth - I ended up with some immediate bruising in the areas where the wax strip was removed (this was only in very sensitive areas and had to have my husband help because after the first few painful strips I couldn't work up the courage to pull it off myself - after he got over laughing at me). So this could be contributed to the sensitivity of the area and having the hubby help. Seven - The box I ordered came with 12, two sided strips and 4 after wax calming oil wipes. These were amazing at removing the residual wax (there seemed to be a lot) and calming my throbbing skin. I would have liked to have had additional wipes for removing the wax from everything I touched though. I had a bottle of baby oil handy and used that which worked just as well for removing the wax. But the wipes had more of a calming sensation to the waxed area than the regular baby oil. Eight - I ended up tweezing most of the remaining hair (not a lot) for a clean finish. For one full bikini wax (which I was overdue for), I used 9 of the 12 two sided strips and three of the four oil cloths. Nine - Due to the wax build-up that stuck to the hair that did not come off with the strip, I had to stop 3/4 of the way through, clean up with the wipes and take a shower before finishing. Overall, the product was effective and if quarantined again I will most likely use this again.

I think if you leave the product on for a little bit longer on your body the wax has a better effect. I also tried The Nair strips and these were highly much more effective. Will repeat

Lots of hair left behind
I have really thick, course hair and even after following the instructions exactly (I also placed the strips on a heating pad to warm them up more), I still had about 50% of the hair in each spot left :( I ended up only doing the front of each leg before j decided to give it up. I wish these had worked for me cause the other reviews were great but these were a no-go for me.

This is very hit or miss, I'm glad I tried, but it wasn't for me.
The biggest advice I can give anyone who hates hair with a passion is try everything, and figure out what works because everyone's body is different and so are their needs. As with everything in life, expectations matter, and it is important knowing what you're getting into. Waxing is not straight forward, ignoring all the reviews that indicate that one of the vendors was selling very old stock, it is clear that most people used these strips wrong. I highly recommend reading about skin types, hair types, body types, wax types, and watching videos on the subject prior to using the product. Bleeding for example, it's a minor issue but it's common, and it becomes a question of is it worth it to you, for many the answer is yes. I will say that for me, as a male with very thick, dense and fast growing body hair, where most of my follicles produce between two to three hairs these wax strips were not able to get most of it and required several passes on a given location. The issue is you can only wax a location so many times before the residue is too much, and then you have to oil it off and now you are too oily. The issue I faced after the first time was that I about 15% of my hair remained and I needed to shave it off, but I had to wait a few days before I could do that. Perhaps if I were to wax weekly like I do with my eyebrows this would not be an issue, but at that point it was easier and more comfortable for me to just continue shaving my body in the shower every two to three days. It wasn't for me, but that doesn't mean it won't work for you.

Product had melted and was unsable
When I pulled the wax strips out of the box I could see that they had melted in to a blob at the bottom of the package. I've tried to use them all the same and they don't work at all, there is just not enough wax left in the main strip area. I've used NADs before and it's a great product but it seems this seller hasn't been keeping them cool.

Para empezar, Nad’s es cruelty free. Las tiras son muy cómodas y ¡sí funcionan! Debes tener precaución al usarlas, y seguir las instrucciones, sino, puedes lastimarte o simplemente no arrancar el vello correctamente. Las toallitas que trae para después de depilar están súper bien, quitan lo pegajoso y calman la piel. Sí estás acostumbrada a depilarte con cera, no tendrás problema con el dolor. Las volveré a comprar, quedé muy satisfecha.

Excellent Product!
Ordered these wax strips based on good reviews. It is difficult to run to salons every time you have a sudden party plan and you find hairs on your arms or legs. At least for me! I recently used these when I had to go somewhere urgently and didn’t have time to go to salon. The results were surprisingly awesome. Merely 2 strips were able to pull out the entire arm hairs. Very easy to use and left with soft arms after using oil wipes. I used iron to heat the strips since I was at home. Haven’t tried heating it with rubbing palms.

Horrible and dangerous
I hated the product completely. It is not effective at removing hair properly. It also removed a huge chunk of skin from my arms and caused a wound. I'm literally scarred for life with this product. No one should buy this product.
