Cute with minor flaws and too much packaging

This doll is incredibly adorable and for the $9 I paid it's totally worth it. I don't think it's worth it at its normal cost however. The shoes that come with the doll are the only things included that have painted on details and they are really horribly scuffed up for being brand new and the painting was done badly. The bangs came gelled and uneven, I had to shore them up with some scissors. The rest of her hair is in two braids and they were also messily done. On top of that both her hat and her hair shed a lot straight out of the box. Now for the things I love about this doll; all the printed details on her fabric face/body are well done and placed just right. Her clothes (minus the shedding hat) seem very well made. They have no loose seams and are very adorable. I would have liked this doll more if the packaging had less plastic. This is not a mystery doll and yet her accessories are wrapped up in plastic mystery bags and some of them were wrapped in plastic inside the plastic bags! This is on top of the massive plastic box it comes in and the plastic used to keep everything in place. Overall this is a very beautiful and cute doll and I'm sure any child who is interested in dolls would enjoy it! Its very soft and the only plastic part are the shoes which are big enough to not worry about getting stuck up noses (unless they break off the straps somehow) however they are small enough to fit in a small child's mouth so they may try to swallow it. (they'd have trouble swallowing but that's not always enough to stop some kids). The clothes and the dolls itself also feel well enough put together that it could survive some rough handling. However because the body is covered in cloth this doll is bound to stain easier than plastic fashion dolls. The upside of this though is that it's soft enough to where any child would be able to keep this doll in their bed without lots of pieces falling off of it as long as they remove her shoes before bed.

So CUTE!!!

These dolls are made of plastic with a fabric layer over top—so unique! The fabric has screen printed details. The underwear and bracelet accessories are printed on the fabric so you cannot remove and lose them. This outfit is so adorable! The white shirt is separate from the jumper. The colors are a bit Christmasy but I think they work and are SO cute. The owl hat is incredibly soft, but I struggled to stretch it over her braided hair. The hair is silky and has several different shades of red to give it extra demension. However, there was a tremendous amount of gel in the bangs out of the package. I used a damp paper towel to gently remove it without touching the head too much but the part line got a little messed up in the process. There are some odd spots in the rooting on the back of the head where it was sewn together but I think it will be okay. I cut off the giant obnoxious tags from the back of the neck before taking the pictures. There is really no way for this doll to sit even with the wire for knee to bend the hip joint does not allow that range of motion. All in all I love the doll. It is a unique concept. I think it will be perfect for my four year old daughter who loves dolls but still enjoys the plush factor. This doll line combines a little more conservative fashion and the cuteness of animal inspiration that really caters to a younger audience. I look forward to seeing more like this.

Worked great!!!

I looked all over for a boy doll for a teenager messy bedroom cake I was making for my grandson. This was so cute.... his little sister begged him for the doll on his cake! Being an amazing big brother she got the doll. We will be buying more for his sister :) Nice details well made. Only complaint would be the huge tag on back of the dolls head.

Hat Is Difficult To Put On... Unless You Redo Her Braids

My girlfriend loves to collect dolls and she said she had the WORST time putting on her hat because of where her braids were sitting! She had to take her braids down and put them more to the back to get her hat to stay on, you can see the inside of the hat from the bottom of it, and it honestly looks better on her in the pictures. Her bow on her shirt also came kinda falling apart, and there are strings of fabric falling off of her dress. The brush also kept getting stuck in the netting (her scalp), whilst trying to brush her hair to restyle it as well. Other than that, she says she enjoys the doll. She just wishes that the overall make of some of her accessories and her "scalp" were better made. The packaging was also a pain to open.

Our special needs daughter loves dolls with hair to brush, over time we have tried every doll suitable but none match the quality of these. She loves the feel of them and ease of getting them dressed and undressed and will spend hours playing with them. Would definitely recommend
