One of the best strings out there
This is one of my favorite strings that I have ever played with! As other reviewers have mentioned, it is nearly identical to Lux ALU, but at a fraction of the price!!! I hybrid this string in the mains with Tourna Premium Poly in the crosses and it is one of the all-around best setups you can put together considering all factors. You get all the benefits of pricier poly setups (increased spin, durability, ability to take big swings at the ball and still fall within a healthy margin of the baseline) but at one of the cheapest prices in the industry. One reel of Big Hitter Silver is ~$70, one reel of premium poly is ~$30, that's $100 for TWO full reels of poly string. A single reel of something comparable like Lux ALU, Solinco Tour Bite, etc runs close to $200. If you have your own stringer and string your own rackets, you'll be saving big time money. I recommend any poly player to at least pick up a set of each because I believe the potential upside to enjoying this hybrid is enormous.

Decent string
Good string to use as a main in a hybrid setup. This string is really stiff is using as a full or for crosses, it will kink on the crosses. Overall a good string, maybe there are better strings out there if you are looking to use this a full bed.

Great Strings
The strings are exactly what I expected. I have purchased these before (never in silver). The picture makes these look like they've got a blue tint to them but they don't. They are a true silver with no trace of blue in the color. The packaging was fantastic until I got to the actual product. The plastic casing was in 2 parts and when I removed the top piece to try to realign it and snap it shut, the strings uncoiled and I couldn't get them to coil back up and fit in the plastic case. It looked like someone had taken scissors and snipped off a portion of the case so it wouldn't close anymore. I'm very disappointed as I know my stringer will have to deal with this each time I drop off these strings when I get my racket restrung. The strings are great. There is a lot of feel, control, and durability. I usually break strings about every 10 days but this has doubled (or more) my restring time. In regard to the packaging, it came in a nice custom fit cardboard box and I will probably leave them with the stringer in that box so they don't have an uncoiled slinky to deal with ...

Great poly without the excessive stiffness
Excellent poly that's "softer" and not so difficult to string. Most other polys are like barbed wire when trying to string, but not Tourna Big Hitter Silver. I use this mostly in a hybrid configuration with the Silver in the mains and synthetic gut in the crosses for comfort and touch. Don't pay the big premium prices (i.e. Babolat). Tourna has made a very slick poly (for great snap-back for spin), that's still soft enough to not feel too stiff. So far string tension has held up great too.

Used product, shorter than described! The string itself is fine, lasts 4 or 5 days, but I do play tennis every day.

Do NOT buy. It didn't come with original Tourna packaging so it could be fake.
Warning, I received the string in a clear plastic bag instead of the original Tourna packaging. Feels very shady. Buy somewhere else. Very suspect.

Good for the player, not the stringer.
I am a hard hitting player, and go through strings very quickly. This string has great durability, but with that does come very little give and makes it very stiff, with a very small sweet spot. I would recommend keeping the tension lower, how ever I did have a hard time with feel as the string does not stretch at all. I would recommend going with a 17/18 gauge of it is available at some point. As for stringing it... It has a horrible coating that will gunk up the grips on your tensioner, and cause the string to slip after just one stringing. Needed to put acetone on a cloth and wipe them down, then clean it off with soap and water as to not damage other strings after. Overall, if you are a string breaker looking for a durable string that you can have at 55-65 lbs and not break immediately, this is a great string for the value. Playability wise though, you would be better off with thicker gauge in a poly that does not advertise durability as much.

I've replaced my Luxilon Big Banger Alu Rough 16 gauge with these. Not quite the same feel. Performance is mostly the same. This is a lot more cost effective solution. Luxilon is expensive, I play with 4 rackets, and I have to restring them all every week or every other week
