don't put on your tongue
Okay. I like the slender end, will work on motorcycle type battery terminals. Other bulky type terminals, or those with plastic all over them...If you need that to be safe, just don’t mess with batteries. The spring is reasonably stiff, will make a good connection. The clamp material (steel) is thin, but stiff enough (in the direction force is applied) to be ok. Step on it, or roll a vehicle over it...probably time for a new one. The copper plating looks thin, I bet they aren't very corrosion resistant. Will see. I would rather have paid more for the same thing made out of much thicker material. Other sturdier looking clamps seem prone to having the stupid bulky or insulated ends, so I'll use these and try not to smush them. Will use crimp on eye terminals and attach to these clamps with screw/nut, as this thin material might not make for a durable crimp.

Great replacement clamps for a battery charger.
Original battery clamp for my Vector smart charger broke in half. Planned to throw Expensive vector smart charger away but. Had an Epiphany to see if clamps were available and they were. I misordered a heavier clamp and had to send it back but these are perfect for me. The red positive clamped onto the bare wire after I cut off the old broken clamp. And stripped an inch of insulation off with a pair wire cutters. and this will do the job using my 15 year old charger. Thus saving big bucks. $4.00 for pair of 80 amp clamps. No soldering necessary.

Sold as "Made in USA" but is Made in china
I don't like the fact that the description for this product says "country of origin," USA, when in fact it is made in communist china. Had I known that, I would have bought another product. Misleading advertising. Buy American.

Good Replacement for Wiped-Out Battery Charger Clamps
I got these to replace the clamps on two Schumacher battery chargers. These clamps are not 5+ inches long as stated on Amazon. They're more like 4 inches. They are small copper clamps for battery chargers. They are not meant for jumper cables. To put them on your old wires, just remove the old clamps, skin 1/2" of wire, crush one set of tabs around the last 1/4" of insulation, and crush the other around the bare wire. If you have a smaller charger, these clamps may be hard to attach to 16 gauge wire. Just put a thick piece of solid copper wire in with the 16 gauge before you crush the tabs. These are not terribly sturdy, but they're better than the originals, and they appear to be all copper.

Sturdy
Good, hard to find size for home battery chargers and jump boxes.

Love these clamps, no more shorting out wires .they can handle the power.
Love these clamps. my older model battery charger worked good but the clamps were too small for some batteries . Found these over sized clamps for a terrific price. They are easy to change out. No soldering needed. The brass is easy to work with, Dont forget to slip the clamps' rubber sleeve onto your wires first. Then just clamp the top set of lips over your bare wire by squeezing them closed with a pair of pliers 1 at a time overlapping each other, then squeeze the bottom lips overlapping each other over your rubber coated wire of your old cables. Easy peasy you are good to go !

Fine clamps.
I used these to replace the aging ends on my battery charger. Works well but make sure you take the time to solder them in otherwise you'll be regretting it.

Thought they were bigger
Bought these to replace mime on my big battery charger. Unfortunately they were very small. I was able to use them on some old jumper cables I had, so it actually worked out for me . I use the jumper cables for my atv and because they are smaller clamps they work out perfectly . Good clamps if your looking for small ones

decent product
Fine for battery chargers or to use with 12 volt trouble lights or other light duty applications. I think that 80 amps may be a little optimistic though. The connections need to be crimped and soldered for security, and it would have been nice if the plastic covers were of a heat shrink material. Very good for the price point

Work
These are very small clamps, but work well as a mini set of booster cables (when paired with the appropriate size wire) for the sleds or quads.

Transfers electrons to the batery post as expected.
These are on a 25 amp battery charger that lost its clamps. They are super light but perfect for the purpose. If you walk on them they will be destroyed. You're going to crimp these with finesse and multiple steps as there is no crimp tool.

I didn’t think copper could rust lol
Did not last. Pretty rusty after year 1. Iron oxide, not copper.
