Great product.
I have 2 of the vacuum breakers. They work great. I have found that if you find restricted flow to your hand shower. I recommend unscrewing the fixture from its water input side. (I wrap electrical tape around the jaws of a pliers 10 ish times to prevent marring. This is way cheaper than buying a set of non marring pliers.) You will probably find the screen full of particulate. A quick rinse under the the faucet and you are good to go. I have had to do this twice in the 5 years that I have owned one. I would much rather particulate got trapped in a place that I can easily clean. Than if it got trapped in the shower head itself.

Fits and Works
My originally installed vacuum breaker (from only a couple years ago) was leaking something awful, so I needed a replacement. This one is actually a better fit than the one my contractor installed, which might explain why it was leaking like a fire hydrant whenever I tried to shower. This product fit my Moen fixtures perfectly and my leak is a thing of the past. I wish my contractor would have checked with me on this part before committing to the cheapo one he installed.

It Works
We remodeled our bathroom to the Pittsburgh city building code and this part was required. The plumber installed and made no comment on whether it was difficult or easy to install. The part has worked flawlessly.

Streamline Vacuum Breaker
For a vacuum breaker this is a simple design. Most units have markings on them, but this one has none. Because these are required by building code for my project, these were more elegant than other off the shelf options.

defective part
first unit received was defective. Would not let water pass thru. Replacement unit is installed and working. Return of defective unit was easily done. Thank You Amazon Mahalo.
