About 4 months ago I installed two new sink faucets in two bathrooms to replace older ones that had issues. Replaced them with commercial Delta faucets from a local plumbing supply warehouse. All I could get were the common government-regulated low-flow type, flowing 0.5 GPM. After installing those, I got tired of waiting a long time to get any hot water up to the bathroom faucets first thing in the morning, it took a full 4 minutes to get hot water. Installed this faucet in one of the bathrooms, and now I get very hot water in 25-30 seconds, a huge improvement. It took 18-20 seconds to fill a 16 ounce water glass with the Delta 0.5 gpm faucet, this 2.2 gpm Moen fills it with aerated water in 3 seconds. Hold onto your glass. :) The faucet has an excellent chrome finish, and it is very heavy. Much heavier than the new Delta commercial that I installed a few months earlier in the sink. It does not come with supply lines, but it was simple to make up some lines from standard plastic supply tubes. I did not install the drain tube that came with the unit, I used the drain assembly from the previous Delta faucet, it lined up perfectly and operated correctly. I also did not adjust the hot water temperature ring, it was fine out of the box. For those of you who are tired of waiting for hot water in the morning, and your problem is the low flow from a throttled faucet, this could be the solution. I'll be buying another one.

Great for your house, too!

Don't let the words "commercial" and "lavatory" dissuade you from considering this faucet for your house. It is STURDY - much more substantial than faucets labeled "bathroom" - and looks great. Also, the drain is constructed of much more durable material than what comes with regular bathroom faucets (metal vs. plastic). There aren't too many faucets that deliver > 1.5 gpm, as this one does. There is a REMOVABLE "stop" within the faucet that would limit how far the handle can be turned to "hot". It is there because of the faucet being listed as commercial -- you know, prevent law suits from getting scalded. (If you have young children, you might want to leave this in place.) You will not find mention of this in the product literature, and being internal, it is not noticeable; but, a plumber could show you. It is simply a ring that can be removed. In the picture of this item is a black color area on the bottom left. It is nothing more than a reflection. The whole piece is chrome -- silver and smooth. In summary, I liked this faucet so much that I immediately purchased one for the other bathroom in the house.

Bathroom redo Looks GREAT!

Wow, HEAVY chrome and brass! Love this faucet! It is amazing how great the genuine Moen parts look when they are chosen over the generic parts available at the retail outlet. We redid our bathroom and purchased new Moen faucet, escutcheon, single handle knob for tub/shower and had to have genuine Moen parts for the sink. We were searching for more of an art deco look and this is incredible when installed. Faucet looks FANTASTIC! Absolutely the only way to go! Will probably put this same faucet in guest bath and vanity area.

Built like a tank, but much prettier! Bought to install in a condo bath sink. Both faucet and drain very well made, and work and look great. Practically all metal construction, and I expect these to last quite a long time. Installation was pretty easy.

Very solid! I always go with Moen's commercial line for my home. MUCH better quality than the Big Box store plastic that you would get if you bought Moen there. Yes, you do pay more, but you can really feel the weight when you pick it up. Worth the extra money if you can swing it.
