The hoses package # is different
I ordered different hoses that supposedly match the one I had but none of them fit( the number serial is important and they send different) so I ordered the one is just like the one I had and voila!!! (Was the expensive one tho) and of course do to reviews , I bought the washer gasket and everything works well now .

Not like original
Hose works fine and its nice and soft/pliable compared to the 15 yr old hose I replaced. A couple of observations. One, the plug in end, which is easy to connect used to be brass, now plastic. Hopefully its as durable. Two: the diameter of the new hose is smaller than the original. That smaller size causes the weight to slip on the hose which does not seem to be much of an issue but I'd rather the weight stayed put on the hose. I was going to add something to the hose to make the weight clamp tighter but it seems to be OK slipping on the smaller hose. Overall, it works OK

Fixed the leak.
Plumbing is never fun, but once I was able to figure out how to release the quick connect for the hose the job was fairly simple.

Relatively easy to install: fixed the leak.
Like other reviewers, I found the replacement hose a bit smaller in diameter than the original, requiring a small piece of foam to be added to the clamshell weight for it to grab properly. Also like other reviewers I needed to transfer the screen/washer from the old hose to the new one (down 1 star for that washer not coming with the hose). I suspect the reviewers that gave this hose a bad rating failed to do that. The connector on each end of the hose was an exact fit. The underneath-the-sink connection was a quick connect type, which worked well in the confined space of the cabinet. Value for the money was rated low because I felt that Moen was sticking it to me for what I assume was their proprietary part. At least it was a lot cheaper than a new faucet.

Smaller diameter and cheaper connection.
-Fits and has fixed leak for now. -Hose diameter is smaller than shown in photo. -Quick connect is plastic not copper. -Original hose weight may not work on replacement hose. Currently reusing my original weight with shim material to match smaller new hose. Perhaps the design change is to extend the life of the ball joint. Perhaps to decrease manufacturing and shipping cost. Perhaps to encourage owners of older faucets to replace instead of repair.

It Works!
This worked perfectly to replace the original one on our Moen faucet that was leaking. Looked all over town for this part, Home Depot, Lowe's, ACE Hardware. Nobody had it. The hose is smaller in diameter than the original, but it fits & most importantly fixed the leak!

DON"T THROW THE OLD HOSE AWAY YET!
OK First let me say its not Amazon, but Moen I have issue with. This is the third hose I've had to replace because of their stupid design. 1st time they replaced the whole Faucet under warranty, with a slightly different and cheapened design which I would have refused had the unit not gone down just before Xmas and the correct replacement hose was "out of Stock" for 3 months! New head was plastic, not metal and less ergonomic shape. The issue is the balljoint/swivel at the pull-out faucet end of the hose. The seal wears too quickly and starts leaking. The water leaks back down the hose through the pull-out housing and drips into whatever kitchen cabinet you have. Since the leak is not initially readily apparent (drip rather than squirt) you can get a lot of water damage to the cabinet base and whatever is in the cabinet before the leak becomes a noticeable squirt. This replacement hose has been cheapened again. Smaller diameter hose is giving a lower flow rate without turning the water pressure up which could make everything else leak. It is dead easy to replace and does not need a plumber. Just turn off supply - remove push fit coupling under sink - unscrew knurled coupling from faucet head (you might nee pipe grips for this but it should be finger tight). Pull the old hose out of the housing and feed the new hose back in. Reconnect both ends and turn on water..... BUT NOW HERE's the BEWARE! The hose does NOT come supplied with the small white debris filter seal (white with a circular mesh center). This seal fits in the faucet end of the hose. This is just DUMB. 1. You should always replace a used compression seal or 'o' ring when replacing to prevent leaks. 2. If you don't realize it's there and try to fit the new hose without this seal - it won't, in fact, seal and sprays water out of the fitting. If you already threw the old hose out, finding this seal would be a problem. Plus you probably just though you got a faulty hose. Yes I got caught but at least I was expecting the seal to be there so I knew to look, but I've had to use the old seal until I can (hopefully) get a new one. It's mad not to send this seal out with the hose. Send one with the replacement faucet head too!! Better to have two than none!!

The media could not be loaded. ## WARNING - IF YOU DO NOT REUSE THE RUBBER WASHER, THIS WILL LEAK ## I bought this item to replace a leaking hose on a Moen faucet. The new hose leaked heavily at the swivel joint. I received a replacement which had exactly the same problem. At first I suspected that this was a faulty batch. Then I read on a forum that you have to replace the rubber washer in order to stop the leak at the swivel joint. Third time lucky. It would have been nice to have this simple instruction included in the package, or better still, a new replacement washer!

Cheap plastic that kinks
Made of cheap plastic. The hose is smaller than original Moen and kinks very easily. Returned-it right away for refund. The quick connect is also mode of plastic and not metal as shown on picture.
