Love the "dimples" for safe hold
This is our second set. We love the "dimples" on the exterior side of each glass. It helps in holding glass without tightening your grip.

Great concept, but use caution.
While both Ozeri Moderna and Bodum do the job of keeping beverages hot (or cold) in our Hawaii climate without the ice in the glass melting quickly, there are two issues with all "chemist" glass, double-wall containers that one should consider before purchase. First, the tensile strength of the glass is very high. The walls are very thin. That combination makes the glass prone to chipping, hairline fractures and breaking if not handled correctly. If you like ice in your Ozeri Moderna, ONLY use the crushed ice option on a refrigerator with and ice dispenser. Even better, dispense the ice in a regular glass and gently transfer that ice to the double wall glass. Second, to keep the air pocket between the walls from fogging, both manufacturers use a flexible plastic grommet in the bottom to hold back external moisture. These make the glasses prone to build up mold between the glass and the grommet which are unsanitary and can be difficult to clean (the only thing that works for me is to put a spot of wet baking soda on my fingernail and ream the grommet until the mold goes away). Additionally, I would NEVER wash these glasses in a dishwasher unless they are well away from other dishes in the washer for the same reason. The drying rack in a sink is another danger spot, as one can forget that the glasses might come in contact with something that can chip or break the glass. Thus, my re-order of both Bodum and Ozeri. Why Ozeri? They cost less, and the playful curves make for interesting looking drinks, especially a colorful Mai-Tai. Cheers!

Best cappuccino/latte cups on the market
I've used traditional (white porcelain) cappuccino cups for many years and wasn't sure what to make of these, but here's what makes them great: - Double Wall really works. There's no heat around the outer layer of glass, which is better than traditional porcelain where you have to hold by the tiny handle due to heat transfer along the sides... - Clear glass is really nice for cappuccinos and lattes because you can see exactly how much espresso/milk/froth you're pouring, and it just looks great. The clear wall is also nice when you're extracting espresso straight to the glass because you can see how much heart/body/crema you're getting from the pull. - The glass seems fairly thick so it's probably less prone to break (I hope). - I specifically bought these for espresso based drinks and was concerned about the shape being too tall and not wide enough but they're 100% spot on. When making a latte you want enough surface area to be able to make good latte art (or bad art in my case) and these are the perfect size. - The price is fair. I think these would be worth as much as $10 each so I was happy to get them at $7.50 each. The not so great: - Although I appreciate the grip indentions along the sides of the glass, it's not enough to provide a secure grip when the outside of the glass gets wet. Grip isn't a problem when it's dry, but if you're hand washing the glass, or if you spill over the sides it does get pretty slippery. I wouldn't mind seeing another model with a frosted glass ring around it, or some sort of texture to assist with the grip. Having said that, I still give 5 stars for a great product.

Smaller than what I thought
I have arthritic hands and these are not easy for me to hold, will be looking for something else. Also, one of the glasses had a hole in the bottom which held water so I threw it away.

Elegant and Practical. My favorite glasses.
I first purchased a pedometer from this company after a poor-quality one by a different company had been provided by an insurance company to participants in group competitions where I work. I was very impressed with the features and quality of the pedometer by Ozeri. Subsequently, I was informed they were offering me a free gift of a set of double-walled glasses. I was astounded because they were offering me an item equal in price to the pedometer! Intrigued, I accepted the offer and now feel fortunate to have done so. The glasses arrived and have become my all-time favorite drinking vessels. They are a comfortable size to hold in smaller hands (8-ounce style), and the impressions on the sides make them even more so. They have an elegant design and can be used for formal occasions. I have used them for piping hot tea and could hold the glass without feeling the heat; and the tea remained hot much longer than in pottery. Also true to the advertising, they keep cold beverages cooler for longer periods of time than traditional glasses. I so highly esteem this product that I ordered a set of the double-walled shot glasses for a brother-in-law and a set of the 8-ounce glasses for one of my sisters. They both have said the Ozeri glasses have become their favorites. I intend to purchase more as gifts for others and for myself to enjoy. I highly recommend Ozeri products based on the quality and features experienced from the products I have purchased to-date.

Care in dishwasher
I bought this item in 2014 and have really enjoyed using the glasses over the years. However, as would be expected, a couple broke. I wanted to get more and found that this was an easy item to ask for for a Christmas present. My son and daughter-in-law got me another set. Recently I put them in the dishwasher and water got into the double wall of one of the glasses. I was finally able to get almost all of the moisture out. Upon looking at the other three, the hole that was used, I presume, to blow the glass was not sealed securely. I since have put some glue over each of the spots and am hoping that that will solve the problem. But I do feel that it is a flaw that was not in the original set purchased in 2014.

Double wall glasses
Very pleased with these glasses. Like double walled glasses and cups for hot and cold drinks. Very thin glass but quite sturdy. Would happily buy again.

Great good looking glasses.
These are great. The look good, and they work well. I use them for coffee. I fill them with hot water then empty and fill with coffee. They work great and the coffee stays hotter longer. They also look awesome when making coffee using n espresso machine with the milk and coffee in layers. These are hand made, so the occasional one or two may not be perfect or they may leak. I suggest as soon as you get a set, use them and wash them to make sure they are OK.

Moderna Artisan vs. Bodum Pavina comparison
I was shopping for a set of Bodum Pavina glasses and these Moderna Artisan versions almost had me fooled. Even the packaging is a deadringer for Bodum's products and I'm surprised they haven't been sued for producing almost-knockoffs. Anyways I broke one of my Pavinas and another one has been heavily scratched from constant dishwashing (this was from 5 years of use), so I decided to give these Moderna glasses a try. The Moderna features four dimples in the glass which makes for a good grip, but being a purist and picky of good design I prefer the simpler more elegant look of the Bodum. The glass of Moderna is noticeably thicker than the Bodum which suggest it is more durable and more resistant to breakage, but like a fine crystal wine glass I like the more delicate and lighter feel of the Bodum glass -- it just feels more elegant and more expensive. I recently bought another set of the Bodum Pavina glasses and I noticed that Bodum had made some improvements which made it more durable but still maintained the same look and feel as the original (my first Bodum set was the first production). The $69 regular price is rather misleading as I think the retail price is closer to the $39 sales price, and disregard Amazon's "Only 1 left in stock" as I bought it when it had the same message and this count has never changed since -- I think it's more of a sales ploy, bad Amazon! I haven't owned the Moderna glasses them long enough to comment on the durability and quality, but they seem well made and very durable due to the thickness of the glass. I still prefer the Bodum because it just feels and looks nicer which a plus when you are enjoying a nice drink in it. I have found the Bodum glasses of the same size at stores for about $22 a pair which is roughly $2 more expensive per glass, which for me is negligible and well worth the tiny premium. If Amazon priced the Moderna glasses at $30 for 4, than I think it would be a realistic deal, but in the meantime I will stick to the original.

Great quality product - have been very pleased.
**Disclaimer: We did not buy these at full price ($70) My husband was a huge fan of our Bodum Pavina ("double walled") glasses and sadly they all broke over the years and a few moves. I had been looking for replacements but was unable to find the glasses for a decent price. We decided to try these Ozeri Moderna Artisan Series Double Wall 8-oz glasses and have been very happy with them. Prior to ordering them, I was unsure of how the notching shape of the glasses would look, as we really liked the look of the Bodum Pavina. It turns out, we love the notching - it makes the glass more comfortable to hold and it doesn't take away from the aesthetics of the glass. The glass seems to be thicker than the Bodum Pavina but in a way that feels less fragile instead of bulky. We have used and washed our glasses many, many times and the glass is still totally clear and there is no moisture or contamination between the panes. Having said that, we almost always hand wash our dishes. While they are a great thermal product for hot or cold drinks, we are big fans of using them as tumblers or wine glasses. I ordered this product right before Christmas and it arrived very quickly, well-packed, and was one of the most impressive shipping experiences I have had.

These are the best glasses I have ever used. I will be buying four more of them.
I could not believe the quality of these glasses when I opened the package. I have spent a lot more for crystal glasses that didn't come close to the craftsmanship or quality of these glasses. They are perfect for drinking out of. They have dimples in the side that fit your fingers perfectly. They are a very nice size for a cocktail or any other kind of beverage. They are mouth blown in such a way they have an air space that acts like a thermos. Your ice will last longer and there's no need to worry about condensation. I also liked the fact that a cold drink does not freeze your fingers or hand. These glasses are definitely good value for the price of them.
