Character building...

Well, this was a character building experience. I purchased this garment to wear under a "fancy" dress for an upcoming event. I needed something with a low back and that could be worn strapless - both features of this garment. The shapewear element is a bonus feature, because having a smoother look under the fancy garment is all the better, right? I have several Maidenform bras, which I wear regularly, so I ordered this garment in the same size. This is where the character building comes in... I receive the garment and try it on, or attempt to. The cup size in the bra part is perfect, but the rest is a struggle. I pull the garment on by stepping in and pulling it up. It definitely smoothed out the tummy area, and the hips, but the extra hip flab all got squeezed up into the low back opening - sexy, no? And I could not, with no amount of trying, fasten the bra band behind my back (keep in mind, I wear this same size in Maidenform bras). To get the bra band fastened, I had to fasten it BEFORE stepping into the garment - extra points for difficulty and even more unwanted flab shifting with that maneuver. I could probably achieve a better fit if I asked for help getting into this garment - a second person to tug and tuck - but I cannot imagine asking anyone to help with that. As the saying goes, "Nobody needs to see that!" As you might've guessed by now, I don't normally wear a lot of shapewear. This particular garment seems really well made, I was just caught off guard by how snug the bra band fits and just how challenging it is for me to get into it and achieve a flattering silhouette. I really don't think sizing up would have been the right move, given the cup size is spot on. The jury is out on whether I'll be wearing this for the upcoming event, but I will give it the old college try!

Decent, I guess.

I have the same brand of this shapewear before they changed the design. I’m not a big fan of the new design with the two seperate pieces you have to pull up. I liked the one piece you would pull up before because this new way is hard to pull up and you have to smooth out the little gap in the back to make sure it’s on right. The bra part feels weird like it can’t stay up without the straps. I’ll play around with it more and hope it stays up strapless. Otherwise, it’s useless.

Excellent supportive shaper, but don't expect comfort

Purchased for my daughter who is performing in a show-choir, and they required uniform look - everyone is wearing this one. It shapes very well, is super sturdy and supportive, no "Baywatch" situation while dancing vigorously. Getting into it is a chore - you will need assistance hooking it up in the back. Going to the bathroom is an adventure. Yes, it has hooks on the bottom, but because its supersnag fit, putting those hooks back together is a feat of strength and dexterity. What's lacking is the "invisible" strap. Please consider adding one. We ended up purchasing invisible straps separately.

Long waist

I liked almost everything about this, it does definitely suck you in and the bra cup fit nicely - but the waist is way too long! If you have a short torso like me, the boning on this shape wear is too long and will curl when you sit, poking out and cause unsightly bulging. Size 34 DD

Great item

My waist is too big. Most women have a smaller waist and it’ll fit perfect! Bra is a perfect fit and bottom. But my body is a little on the masculine side. So it’ll fit regular feminine body types perfect!!

Good for coverage, not so much for tummy control

This worked for what we needed but I wouldn’t say it was terribly slimming, at least not in comparison to other “tummy control” items we’ve used. My daughter was taking her senior pictures and needed something to go under her dresses for changes where there wasn’t a lot of places to cover as well as a bra that could go strapless. This isn’t strapless but with the underside we were able to tuck the straps in and it still help her chest area (she is a 36 D). She wanted something slimming as one of the dresses provided to her by the photographer was a little tighter on her than the others. This really didn’t pull her stomach in at all. It provided coverage but not much else. It isn’t an item I see her using every again because it also wasn’t very comfortable and the material was hot for a summer shoot (not the fault of the item, but if you are someone who gets hot easily it might be better to go with the Spanx brand or something with a softer material). I have washed it and it held up well on the delicate cycle and line drying without pilling or pulling the boning through the seems. Overall, this was an ok item but basically a waste of money for us since I don’t see it ever being used again.

Too short

I'm 5'5" and weigh 150 on a bad day, with 34DD. This product certainly felt like it worked, but it was a few inches too short and when secured by the crotch it pulled the cups down to where my boobs usually sit, which obviously isn't where I want them lol Anyway, it was understandably uncomfortable and created a somewhat ideal shape, and at least my boobs had shape even though they were still technically sagging. I bought this so that my boobs would be supported by something strapless like a corset, so I guess it got the job done. But I also hoped it would take a few more inches off and it only made a 1 inch difference. On top of that, since it was too short, it gave me side boobs and was not flattering on my back at all. Pudgy. I'm not exactly fat, and I'm not skinny either, so wearing this and seeing pudge made me feel self conscious. It also made me feel a bit suffocated since the material didn't breathe well, but I guess that's the price for buying a corset, basically. I returned it for something longer.

Defeats the purpose of a shaper

You can see the lines from the boning through clothing. There are also lots of lines on the bum, like a thong line and a regular underwear line that are super obvious through clothing. As others have said, the torso is pretty short — it fit me ok there I am average height with a shorter torso I guess.

gives you a waistline

I bought quite a few different ones before I found the one. it's the perfect fit, nice thick material. It's not too tight where you can breath or move but it's just enough to give you some shape and contour around the waist. I also like that the straps were removable.

Great product if you get the sizing right.

Excellent product, really happy with the quality. I'm a curvy size 12L/14 (UK), cup size C, and 168cm. I ordered 38B and it fits perfect - makes my waist look tiny and good smoothing of my tummy. The cups run large and body runs small/short, I'm quite tall so got a slightly bigger size to accommodate the vertical stretch. I wouldn't wear it strapless as I need the shoulder straps to keep it stretched vertically and I need a lower back so I have less support around the bust. You could move the back strap up or down an inch easily to accommodate more support or a lower cut. It has medium support which is just perfect, any tighter and you'd get spillage as the low back cuts right across the squishy part. It has boning in the front - a little uncomfortable if you slouch when you sit but otherwise really comfortable to wear, and nice and secure around my derriere - so no riding up.

Waow, c'est le summum , c'est vraiment ce que je désirais qui me sculpe bien le corps, les seins, la taille et le ventre, vraiment très moulant mais il faut s'y habituer car au début ce n'est pas facile. Je porte habituellement du 36B et c'est la bonne grandeur commandée. Pour m'aider j'enfile un collant fin et ensuite la combinaison glisse tout seul.
