Another fun Mod Podge product
I love this product! I used this like you would an acrylic gel medium for transfers like this http://www.liquitex.com/techniques/transfer/ Using gel medium is cheaper, however this method is good if you are transferring onto fabric and surfaces that are dark. It goes on like white paint and dries like white paint. When you transfer an image from a laser jet printer, it is white behind the image and looks great. One thing to keep in mind if you are used to doing gel medium transfers, the print you use needs to be cropped to exact specifications or you need to paint the mod podge photo transfer around your image in a straight line if you want it to look neat. The completed image shows the transfer medium, and unless you want a lot of white around your picture, you need to watch where the medium is covering. I'm going to try transferring the image with white acrylic paint next time to see if it gets the same effect as this. Maybe white fabric paint will work similarly on fabric, too. The reason for the four stars is the price. Even in the store, you get less for your money than other mod podge products

I'm just truly amazed with this definitely will recommend and purchase more
This stuff is amazing I just recently learned about this stuff and I have been doing arts and crafts for years it is fantastic you have to let dry for 24 hours that's the hardest part I put a photo on wood, on wood it worked I couldn't believe it

Love doing transfers, was not exactly what I expected. Pros and cons.
I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted to love this product. And this was a big ole experiment having never seen this product in any stores. I find, universally that Mod Podge makers are not very good at giving thorough information on their products. I do a LOT of transfer techniques, including image transfer techniques on fabric. And I could not get my questions answered before purchase, so I knew I would have to just try and see. At first glace, this looked to be a great solution to other fabric transfer methods that require curing, special chemical treatments etc (I have used specially treated fabrics and run directly through the digital printer). Here is what I did not expect: -Medium is WHITE and OPAQUE! No matter the fabric under, this will be a slightly rubbery, white paint, that may give an undesired effect around your transfer. You may or may not want that effect. Be sure to test this first using the image you want to transfer. You MIGHT be able to paint or mask the medium onto the fabric, to the size and shape of the transfer image you wan; and not see any of the Transfer Medium. I can see that working well, but depends on the image and fabric color, pattern, etc. -Adds some thickness to the fabric. I would not use this on fine or silky fabrics, as the medium is a little bit the consistency of acrylic paints. You can thin it, but too much and your image wont transfer well...which could ALSO be a cool effect. Other than that, be neat and think carefully about the fact that the medium will become part of your design/transfer on your fabric: you will have a white area on any colored fabric (great for transferring onto dark fabrics. And the Transfer Medium will cover up any pattern you may have on the fabric you are transferring upon. I also want to say, if there ARE any hints and tip to use this product better than I did, Mod Podge is not sharing them (or was not when I purchased this product). I know many LOVE Mod Podge and their products. I often find better alternatives across the board, myself. Just have an idea, ahead of time, of your desired result - or experiment on scrap fabrics just to see what happens (which can be fun, too). That may help you to use this transfer medium in a way that is best for you!

Awesome product
Worked perfectly...I definitely wouldn’t suggest you use with inkjet printer images but if ur images are laser print works very well

Does the job
It works for photo transfer but if you have regular mod podge, it works just as good. This transfers great. Just wasn't the finish I needed.

Need photo paper!
This is probably great mod podge but I tried to do a photo and put it on a coffee cup and it turned out really faded. I think I should have used photo paper because I just used plain copy paper and it didn't come out very visible.

So fun!
There is a small learning curve when starting to use this, but once you get the hang of it, it is so much fun! I recommend doing a couple of test photo transfers before doing your actual project if you are new to it. I used it to transfer photos onto wood. I can't wait to so more projects with this transfer medium!

Looks great on wood
I have tried this on candles and wood and it works really well. You have to rub the paper off several times and let it dry inbetween but the finish result is worth it. Looks great on wood, especially black and white photos!

Perfect!
I used this to transfer photos onto wood and it turned out beautifully! I was able to do 1 small, medium and large transfer with some left over. Because it's advertised for "dark fabrics" it makes photos not too dark when the transfer is done and provides the perfect amount of colour.
