Love this shoe. Bargain.

Comparison of four shoes: I tried on the indicated sizes of the four shoes listed below – I had them all at home and compared them extensively. All four shoes were pleasant surprises in that I liked all of them very much and the first three were very inexpensive. The main differences in these black loafer-style shoes are small differences in style and fit. The Geox and “Bike” slip-on had defined heels, giving a somewhat dressier appearance; the others had molded soles/heels. The SAS shoe had a leather band across the front (where a penny loafer would have the penny band). One thing that I can’t comment on is how they will fit after a couple of months of use, but I suspect they will remain good. I confess that I kept one of each shoe – I expect that one or two of them will turn out to fit particularly well but can’t predict which those will be. 1. Rockport Men's Palmer Venetian Loafer 12W, 13M Comments. Loved these shoes. There is a small amount of elastic at the joint between the top and side of the shoe. Leather and fit very nice. Runs a bit big: I usually am 13M but that was too big and 12W fit. Excellent value. Comes in M and W but not 12.5. 2. Rockport Men's Style Leader 2 Bike Slip-On 12W 13M Comments: Loved these shoes. Fit and leather similar to the Palmer Loafer except the shoe is higher. As with the Palmer, 13M was too big and 12W fit. These have a longer toe box 3. Geox Men's New Damon 2 Plain Vamp Loafer 12.5, 13 Comments: Loved these shoes. 12.5 and 13 were available but not W width. Mainly true to size – maybe slightly on the large size. The toe was flatter with more room than in the other three shoes. 12.5 was slightly too tight, so had to go with 13. 4. SAS Men’s Ace slip on loafer 13M, 13Narrow, 12.5W, 12.5M. Comments: I got these directly from the SAS company in New Orleans, but they also are on Amazon. SAS was fast and very helpful – I tried two sizes in one shipment and sent them back for two more sizes which were shipped immediately in exchange even before the first two were received back at the company. Because in the end I kept one size, all postage both ways (through the USPS) was free. I also love these shoes. They are a somewhat closer fit, but seem to fit very well. This particular style is somewhat more casual. There is more arch support and ventilation holes on the inner side.

Oversized, or my feet have shrunk

Bought the same size of same brand that I've worn for years, but they were too long, and slipped down my heel the first time I tried one on and tried walking- didn't bother to put on the other one. Returned, and purchased next size down - much better fit. I like the shoes now that they fit - comfortable so far. Oh, the old shoes I already had still fit the way they have always fit; so my feet must not have shrunk.

If the left shoe wasn’t uncomfortable it would be great.

Hurts my left ankle bone when I wear them. Otherwise shoes are great

Just what I was looking for

I was looking for a pair of casual yet good looking slip on shoes that I could wear with shirts or jeans or pants. Also didn't want them to look too delicate but we're not too bulky either. These fit the bill.

Drei verschiedene Farben dieses Schuhmodells habe ich bestellt und probiert. Ich hatte vor wenigen Jahren von der Marke Rockport äußerst bequeme Slipper auch über Amazon gekauft, die wie ein Handschuh am Fuß saßen. Ich hoffte auf neuen, guten Ersatz. Leider sind diese Schuhe nicht mehr für meine kräftigen Füße geeignet. Schade, ein qualitativ sehr guter Schuh, leider zu eng.

Buen estilo y comodos. Pedí un 27.5 cm me quedaron grandes, los devolvi y pedi 27. Lo malo de comprar en amazon México es que manejan tallas en cm y no te da opción a escoger el W, que en este caso el zapato de delgado, sería mejor un W

lightweight and good fit

Bought as a replacement for my older Rockports. Very light and fits perfectly for me. Wish there was more colours to buy. Easy on the feet and love the clean lines.
