Nice metal coat hanger, but difficult to assemble

Nice looking and lots of hooks, so it holds a lot of clothes. very reasonable price and fast delivery. Difficult to assemble: parts are NOT labeled, so it was difficult for me and I am good at assembling and building things. The allen wrench handle supplied was too small, but luckily I had a bigger one which was much more comfortable and easier to use. The main stem consists of 2 x 24" metal rods. once I figured out which rod was top and which one was bottom, it was clear sailing from there on out= THEY ARE NOT LABELED.

A lot of hooks

Has a lot of hooks to hang things...that is great...but every time I lift the middle connection dismantle.

Decent enough coat rack

I needed a coat rack, and something in black seemed like a good bet to match whatever room I put it in. This was easy enough to assemble, though the instructions were tiny print and not at all easy to follow. Fortunately, it was something I needed minimal guidance with. As advertised, no tools are needed (it comes with the tiny allen wrench needed for the screws), though if you are tempted to use "real" tools to hasten assembly, bear in mind that the metal tubes are cheap and thin enough that my *hand* tightening of the screws caused deformation. Overall, this coat rack will do its job, and it took about 15 minutes total to put together (it would have taken less time, but I didn't realize what the "spacers" were for at first, and then the deformation of the base tubes required some force to put in the end caps -- put them in *before* attaching to the central pole!). For $30, it's okay.

Great Product for the Price

There are a few mistakes in the assembly instructions. 1) They do not tell you when to place all the caps, but this is not a big deal since you could easily do it afterwards. 2) They do not specify where and which way to install the rubber washers. The rubber washers should go between the main pole and the arm/leg. They do have a flat and a concave side, but I don't think it makes a difference which way you install it. My main advice for assembly is take your time and do not over tighten the screws. The metal easily dents if you continue to tighten the screws farther than needed. One of the legs came warped, but was easy to bend back into shape with pliers. If you do need to reshape the metal, make sure to use a towel between the pliers and metal or you will leave scratches behind. Overall this product has worked really well for me the last few weeks and I would purchase it again.

A little unstable but otherwise very nice

This rack has a stability/balance issue, probably because the feet don't spread out enough. Mine has tipped over just from hanging a large bath towel on it (I use mine as a towel rack next to my hot tub). I finally had to extend the length of the feet by inserting 18" pieces of 3/4" PVC pipe into them, which seems to have widened the stance enough to make the rack reasonably stable. Now I can hang things on it without having to hold the rack up to keep it stable. Other than that this is a very nice rack with plenty of places to hang garments.

You get what you pay for

Pros: - Cheap - Lots of hooks! - Easy to assemble - lightweight Cons: - Flimsy - Cheap materials - lightweight Details: If you're looking for a budget coat rack that doesn't mount to a wall, this is a solid buy. Don't expect it to last forever though. Made of cheap flimsy metal, the rack is very light, which acts as both a pro/con. Easy to move around to different locations, but may be more prone to tipping over if unbalanced. Cheap plastic caps cover the ends of the hooks and base. If you're looking for something sturdy and built-to-last, I'd recommend looking at more expensive options. If cheap is the goal, this will do fine as long as you take care of it. Looks nice for what it is! Side note for assembly: Due to the thin metal, be careful not to screw into the holes too tightly trying to find a sturdier anchor for the limbs. The hollow metal tubes will warp if you go too far.

Better then I thought

I've had this coat rack for a few weeks now, and I have to say when it arrived I read some of the reviews and was a bit let down form what I saw. Other then that I do think it is worth it as it is easy to assemble, it is sturdy but for the stability I did realize it will tip over just a bit on one side depending on where you put the heavy stuff.

its okay

For the price it does the job. It does have some balancing issues. The legs are not well designed and sometimes it can fall over if you don't keep it as even as possible with weight. Overall worth getting if you just need a cheap basic coat rack to get things off the back of chairs/floors.

Lots of pieces to put together but holds our every day jackets, scarves, and bags. Instructions are… not translated exactly but! you can understand the meaning.

Great value for the money

Fairly easy to assemble, came in a smaller box than I expected and wax light. Stable for a 3 legged base, I put two coats on one side and it didn't fall. It's got lots of arms, the only thing it needs is one up the center to hang hats on, that would have been 5 star worthy. Really well worth it for thIs price.

Missing one top hook. Disappointed.

Missing one top hook.Tubing so flimsy it bent while tightening the screws. One of the plastic caps didn't insert properly and bent. Don't waist your money.

I think it’s worth it . I didn’t like there was no written instructions but it’s pretty easy to assemble. It’s actually more sturdy than I thought. I put my heavy Canadian winter coat on it first. To see how sturdy it was. Its fine .
