Bone China without the Bone
We got the 1/2-price 'used like new', and they look very nice. I wondered how they could be bone china and vegan, but it says there is no bone. My only complaint is that the plates are on the heavy side, but it's satisfying to have a set of Mikasa for cheap.

Awesome
LOVE LOVE LOVE this set. I have been looking for a long time for new dish set. I used it for the first time today and it’s lightweight and easy to clean. I bought 4 sets for a setting total of 16 and not one was chipped or broken upon arrival. Would definitely recommend!

Great Quality
This set is amazing, one did come broken in the box but probably just not treated gently during shipping. The box was pretty heavy. I like the sizing of the plates and they are dishwasher safe.

Nice set
They don't look cheap or expensive. They're just a nice set of plates. My issue is that some of my plates have a rough texture in the middle. Maybe from bubbles during the process of making the plates? Other plates are smooth. Also, some of the dots are more pronounced than others. For the price, everything should be uniform. I was surprised and happy to see that they were packaged well and none came broken. They're lightweight and look like the photo.

Good quality, but still a step down from what they used to be.
I have many sets of Mikasa dinnerware over the past 20 years and have seen them going more popular and more competitively priced. But this set of dinnerware seems not as well made. I notice the surface is not as smooth, and the sandy feel didn't completely go away after washing. And after hand-washing them, I thought the design of the plates (very flat) is actually more conducive to slip off the hand and chip. They are still better than many other brands, but I'd go to the store and look at the product in person to make sure they live up to their quality standard and price tag.

Lightweight and Versatile, but Surface Is Not Smooth
The plates and the rest of the dinnerware look attractive and well-made. It is very user-friendly and easy to use, being dishwasher-safe, microwave-safe, and oven safe. They are lightweight. I was disappointed that they are not smooth; the surface has a little roughness to it.

Very very nice set of china
I'm like the average man out there, I eat out of whatever the wife buys (or what the food comes in) and that's pretty much the end of it. When I first grabbed one of these bowls for cereal though, I was instantly sold. These feel nice to the touch, and look nice in a subtle way. I was happy with how easily they blend in with the dishes we already have so I wasn't starting from scratch again. In the sink as well as being used around the house they are indestructible. From drops to dings and banging around during rinses these haven't chipped or cracked one time. There's a chip free warranty that I bet will almost never be used. They are awesome and have me feeling some kind of way the way I have enjoyed them so much. I fully recommend them as well as my wife does! Purchase a set now you will not be disappointed.

Note the shape of the plates if you have other Mikasa sets
This Kamryn dinnerware is a beautiful set that includes a large plate, a medium plate, and a somewhat large bowl. I have another Mikasa white dinnerware set (Swirl) that I thought I might use together with this one. I'll have to keep them for separate use, however, because the Kamryn style plates have a curved up edge and my other set is flat so they won't stack together. I like that the bowl is not as huge as the bowl in my Swirl set. (In my photos, Swirl is on the left, Kamryn on the right.) I can't comment on the longevity or chip resistance of the Kamryn set yet, however, my other white Mikasa set doesn't chip it just breaks if it falls on the tile floor or granite countertop. This isn't Corelle, after all, but I prefer the Mikasa bone china styles and weight over Corelle, so it's a trade off. There's an issue with the finish getting dull in the the dishwasher over time, but again, this is my previous experience with white Mikasa bone china. I haven't used the Kamryn set long enough to have observed with certainty whether this will happen.
