Smaller than it appears

I thought this brush was bigger per the picture. A little misleading. Still works well, just takes a little more elbow grease.

Makes my life a lot easier

I have to work in basements reading water meters and backflow devices. The crud and corrosion that build up on those device's info tags make it difficult to read. This thing is a life saver. The bristles are strong and do a great job cleaning without damaging the existing text.

useful for PCB flux cleaning

Anybody who's done any amount of PCB soldering with flux will know that the residue created makes the end product look messy. Although we have "no clean" fluxes, this generally means that the flux won't eat away anything if it isn't removed, it doesn't mean that the PCB will not need cleaning. I use this brush with 99.9% IPA in a bath, I use the brush to scrub the submerged PCB. If you do this, you need to ensure that any parts on your board will not be damaged by this. The IPA evaporates very quickly from the PCB. You may find that performing a pre-scrub in de-ionized water first, the followed by the IPA will produce better results. The IPA will displace any water, so you don't have to worry about any being trapped.

It's okay!

Well made, nice little brush BUT the finish of the wood is pretty "naff!" Very rough finish with lots of little splinters but it does what it says on the box!

Quality item, molded ply handle and short natural bristles as I needed. Will be used for PCB cleaning following soldering repairs or component replacement.
