perfect for new mattress buyers.
I've never bought a new mattress before, and I've had my old one for a few years now. My bed frame isn't in yet but this already makes my room seem bigger. My boyfriend has the same type of foam in his bed and instantly I was on board. It molds around me and hugs me just right, not too firm and not too cloudlike. My back feels less tense the more I lay on it. It is very different, but my old mattress was as hard as a rock, in my opinion it's definitely worth it! I don't have a picture, but I hope this helps.

Good quality for the price
My husband and I upgraded our bed queen size to king (two twin xl). He got 10 inch hybrid and I got 10 inch Licid memory foam. But hybrid one is almost 11 inch and this memory foam is little less than 10 inch. So if you want to put two beds together, you should get the same type of bed. I’m 169 lbs and 5’6 and got medium firm. First I felt laying on top of the bed but little after, I started feeding myself sinking and being embraced by foam, which is what I was looking for. Not too soft, enough support for my back, but still feel the “sinking”.

Wonderful bed
I hav had this bed for a few weeks now and this is exactly what it wanted a nice firm bed, which I personally think everyone should hav as I now kno plush or overly soft beds are not that great for your back and when i wake up after sleeping in this bed I hav no back pain, only complaint I hav is that I am a warm sleeper and I get warm on this bed but thats my thing.

Perfect for first time bed
I bought this mattress for my 2 year old (now 3 year old) son. I wanted to skip the toddler bed because my son is in the 99th percentile for height and it seemed like a waste of money to have a bed for only a year or so. I was nervous about getting him a bed because I wanted to make sure it was going to be comfortable enough to maintain his sleep quality, but I didn’t want to buy it from a local store, I wanted to buy it online. I also wanted something that will last around 10 years. I got the medium because he was used to sleeping on a hard mattress crib. I’m glad I went with that one for him. If I were buying it for myself I would go up to plush. I’m happy with this mattress and will buy another one when my daughter moves out of the crib.

wait for sales
I just received this yesterday- of course it goes on sale the day it arrives. I hope they can refund the difference. It feels soft but not the full 10 inches it clams. I will sleep on it tonight for the first time.

This is the second bed. I wanted another for the other bedroom. They can say Lucid is cheap all they want, but best sleep I have ever had. I have Pillows, Comforter, sheets, and yes the body pillow. These are Amazing... You have to buy the pillows. Once you buy a set you will be HOOKED....

A solid bed for the price
There are so many beds on the market its impossible to try them all. Then there are beds you know are going to be good but a twin may cost 500-600 bucks and unless your pretty well off most of us can't logically afford that. Im a big guy, this mattress was pretty good but I added a 2 inch memory foam pad that I had on it and then it became pretty much perfect. Never had one of those super high dollar beds to compare it to but i believe this was money well spent. I was using it in a spare room and now its in my semi truck and still going great. Ill buy another of this brand if I need to in the future

It’s almost perfect
I had purchased the plush Lucid mattress for my other house & that one was PERFECT. Needed another mattress & for some reason could not ship the plush to Hawaii. But the medium mattress could be shipped, so I went with that. If you are reading this then you know mattresses are a very personal choice. How can a mattress feel like sleeping in a cloud & also feel like sleeping on a slab of concrete? Is there truly that much difference in 2 people’s experience? Or is it quality control of the memory foam? At any rate, I had a good experience with Lucid once. And had a bad experience with a different brand where the new mattress had zero support & gave me back pain like I’ve never experienced before. It also was so hot! And if you get the mattress & don’t like it, good luck getting it back into the box & returning it! I ended up selling it to some poor soul that didn’t know what a torture thing the mattress was. But hey, there were a gazillion 5 star reviews on that brand. Maybe the buyer got an almost brand new “like sleeping on a cloud in an inferno” for a fraction of the price! Anyways, back to this medium support Lucid. It’s OK. I wake up with ZERO back pain & does not retain heat, so maybe it does deserve a 5 star instead of 4 star. But, I just wish it had a tad bit more softness. Like maybe one or two more inches of soft memory foam. I’ve had it for a couple months. I am hoping as it breaks in it will soften up a bit. This mattress is probably good for people larger than I. And I sleep alone with a couple little furry friends. I tried putting a 3” memory foam mattress topper on it but it was too much, a little too soft. Maybe a 1” or 2” topper will work. Don’t get me wrong, I really do like this mattress. No back pain is worth a lot!!! This mattress is almost perfect! I would have traded the plush for this medium, but he let the old dog sleep on it with no waterproof protection & guess what? He can keep it! Also, the softer they are the faster they degrade. That plush mattress… the person sleeping on it is about 30-40lbs heavier than me. He’s been sleeping on it for 5 years & its has an indentation where he sleeps. But he has not complained about that. He does complain about the fact that there’s no support at the edges when you sit. That is true for any memory foam mattress. He ended up putting padded side boards on his bed frame to give it support (my bed frame already has side boards, which is perfect for memory foam!) I really wish I could have ordered the plush Lucid, even if I would have to replace it in 5 years. For the price, to me, it’s worth it. That plush mattress was perfect, this medium is almost perfect & since it is firmer, hopefully it will last a little longer. Good luck with the search for the perfect mattress! If you can afford to pay a little more, buy one at Costco or somewhere that you can return it if it doesn’t work for you. Or go to a mattress store & take a lie down on different brands. Or lie down on a friend’s memory foam & see how it feels. There’s just no way to know, since every mattress on Amazon has contradictory reviews. I do believe that if you are not sure, go with the firmer one. If it’s too firm, you can always put a topper on it. But if it’s too soft & causes crippling pain & makes you feel like you are sleeping in an inferno of heat, you are pretty much screwed. I do recommend this medium Lucid mattress. It is a good mattress at an affordable price.

Different!
It's hard to describe what it feels like when you lay on something like this, but the best thing I can think of is, it kinda feels like your floating when you lay on it. I'm a big guy who bought this for my big rig sleeper as the factory one was horrible. Couldn't get comfortable, always waking up with aches and pains, not having a good sleep at all! I've had this mattress for almost a week now and what a difference! Never laid on a mattress that felt like this! I like it! I'm just over 300lbs and when I lay on this thing, I sink in just enough. It's firm, but not hard. Just figured I'd let the bigger guys know that. Thanks again!

Great as a secondary bed, wouldn't really use it as a primary
I got this for my second bedroom that I want to use as a combination of guest room and office. Just like other mattress-in-a-box products, it came very well packaged and unpacking it was quite easy. It also didn't emit bad odours or anything and I was able to test it out within the week. I had a gues sleep on this mattress for a week, and I tried it myself too. First of all, it definitely looks and feels more expensive to the touch. It doesn't look like the cheapest mattress you can buy. It's also very soft. However, there is virtually no support so it's not the most comfortable to sleep on.

Does not hold the firmness
After almost 3 months of use, middle part of the bed where the body weight sits overnight is already sagged. My body sinks in this part and I hate it
