Love it.
Bought this for a Christmas gift for a friends son and he loves it. It is still his favorite toy months later. I love Melissa & Doug toys.

Lots of Fun
Our Grandson loves this toy. The keys to open the garages are fun to him. We bought it when he was 5 and at 6 he still goes back and plays with it periodically. Very durable and soundly made. He adds it to a wooden town he plays with, so the town can have police, firemen and an ambulance. Great fun!

My autistic son liked this!
Durable and sturdy. My son loved playing with this toy before he got obsessed with kinetic sand. He hasn’t gotten far along to figure out the keys but he enjoyed opening and closing the garage. It slowly started teaching him which colors belong to what (I.e: white car goes into white garage).

Not horrible
Purchase this for my 2 year old grandson. To work on fine motor skills Pros Super cute All wood Cars are sturdy and seem like they will last a long time. Love that u can push a lever for the cars to come out Cons I would have done a normal flat key instead of shapes on the part that inserts into the garage to open the bay doors The doors kinda stick a little so for little hands you have to really work them out so they can get them up and down Overall it's still a usable toy for my autistic grandson however I will find one perhaps a tad more suitable for his skill level

Cute toy for the car lover. Teaches good hand eye coordination using the keys and key holes. Melissa and Doug toys never disappoint!

2.5 year old boy in serious love
A lot of people are complaining that the keys are just willy nilly in there. Mine came with a key chain. It was plastic but could hold all keys and clip to the top handle. It was too flimsy though and kids broke it so replaced with a metal carrabeaner (sp?) you know those clips meant for hiking? Oh he loved that and I did too. I still give it 5 stars. I don’t buy my kids toys very often and so he was really aching for a toy and this fit the bill. He was able to figure out the lock mechanism with very little help. I had to reinforce a few times which way was lock and which way was open and how to pull key out. This only took about 10 min. After that he was off. It is particle board but seems sturdy to me. He’s sat on it a few times. No problems. Thrown it once. Did ok. I think the cars are solid wood. The door was a little stiff but loosens with use. No problem for him either. I love it no regrets Melissa and Doug always deliver.

Great design
Both of my boys love playing with this toy. It's great for dexterity and fine motor skills while they are having fun. I would definitely recommend buying.

Great toy
My preschooler wanted this so bad after seeing it on Genevieve’s Playhouse, they were thrilled with this toy, the garage doors are a little flimsy (which is unusual for a Melissa and Doug toy) but we’re going to be gentle with them. The little cars seem sturdy and adorable

This is a fantastic toy for little toddler boys. They love putting vehicles in and out of garages. Nice, durable quality and bright, beautiful colours.

pricey for the quality
very bad quality for the price you get. its made up of porous wood or more like a hard card board .. not a wood. When it arrived we didnt even unpack it it was already folded from the corners. the quality of key and the locks is also more like cheap plastic. Concept is good but very cheap quality product. Not worth the money I paid!
