So so…

Let me start by saying, I love and swear by LipSense by SeneGence. But I wanted to try something a little more on the affordable side and see if a one step system could hold up against my tried and true. I bought this because it claims to be glossy without the gloss. Let me start by saying application was a breeze but I was disappointed by how long it took to “dry down”. SeneGence takes seconds so that is what I’m used to; I’ve also used Anastasia Beverly Hills matte lip products when I’m craving the matte look. This had a good appearance but I’ve had it on for almost 12 hours and it has NEVER actually dried down. It is still tacky when my lips touch. I’ll admit, it has been put through the ringer; church this morning, pizza at the park for lunch, a full Sunday afternoon nap, bratwurst and potato salad for dinner plus a coke, a couple coffees, some water and the likes throughout the day. I have not reapplied because I wanted to see how it would hold up throughout the course of a natural day. If I had gone to church tonight, I would not have felt comfortable sporting this lip, I would have needed to remove the color and reapply but as long as I don’t have to be presentable after 6-8 hours I will think about using it again. Not my favorite but not the worst either.

Absolutely love this product!

I have bought six of these, I love them so much. Awestruck is kind of brown. So is Charmed. My absolute favorite color is COY. Do not be afraid of it being too dark, because one coat is a very nice light pink. Then you can build on it. Hot and Dainty are VERY bright pink. Coy can be a dark pink if you put a few coats on. With this product: DO NOT FORGET TO SHAKE IT: I know this is no ones habit yet but it really makes a difference and I've made it a habit to shake it every time (for 5 seconds) before applying. LET IT DRY: It will come off on things for the first five minutes or so. I won't kiss my husband until it's completely dry. I won't drink anything either or move my mouth much. Immediately after application it will come off a little even on your teeth, but it wipes off easily if caught quickly. If you do these things, it will not come off during a kiss, or on a wine glass - like at all. It's amazing and stays all day. I use an oil based make up remover like DHC for washing it off but Clinique make up remover on a cotton round works best. Even the pre-moiseend make up removing wipes (like Ponds) doesn't take this all the way off and soap won't touch it.

Cheeky, Awestruck, Captivated Colors

Cheeky is my most favorite of the 3 colors I bought. It is a pinkish nude. Awestruck is a darker version of Cheeky with more purple/mauve. Captivated is ugly. It is the color of caramel. It took every bit of pink out of my lips and turned it an orangy sandy color. Yuck! The formula is long wearing which is a little uncomfortable on my sensitive lips so I wear these as lip liners, which is great. My lips don't get as irritated and it lasts better than regular liner, so all I have to do is reapply my lip oil.

I saw a tik tok by Bethany Frankel recommending this product- went straight to amazon & the price was very fair so I ordered two lipsticks - now, IM OBSESSED!!!!! Not thick, not sticky, not gooey - perfect lip stick - love the color options & the feel of it - it makes me crazy when i buy a celebrity recommended cosmetic item, pay a-lot of money & its crap so to Bethany I thank you because your recommendation was honest & great!!!!! Not long lasting as advertised

This Maybelline Super Stay lip color is not long lasting as it is advertised. The color is nice though. The lipstick feels sticky on my lips. Some of the lipstick will come off while drinking and eating. But it is easy to apply.

Liptastic!

This is by far my favorite lip product. It is a necessity for me and the local store stopped carrying my color, Witty. The color goes on flawlessly, allowing your lips to feel naked while the color stays for hours!

More on brown nude side

I was hoping for a more pinky nude shade but it’s more on the brown nude side. If that’s what ur looking for, it’s a good choice. It’s a good lipstick and feels soft and smells good. Just not the color I really wanted. I got the shade captivated

Love Fearless!

Fearless is a gorgeous brown that's actually closer to a maroon color. If you've ever used the lipstick color chocolate then you know what I mean. That's why I think this color will look good on my chocolate complexioned sisters and also on my light and white sisters who like the vamp/goth look but with a soft twist. I've used two other colors from this line and I have found this lipstick to be creamy and moisturizing and I did not experience the tacky sticky issue that some have complained about. It does transfer onto a glass when drinking but it still keeps my lips fairly stained for most of the day. There are probably staining lipsticks that are better performers out there but for the price, the variety of colors and the moisturizing shine that this line offers I'm a believer.

Color bonito y duradero

Yo compré el tono 10 Lippy y siento es más claro el color del envase que en la publicación, lo quise comparar con otros labiales parecidos que tenía de Tony moly y revlon y se ve como tiene tonos más rosas que los otros. - Sin luz directa se llega a ver un poco más oscuro - Por ser vinyl si se siente sticky pero dura muchísimo y eso hace que valga la pena - Se podría decir que no transfiere ya cuando se seca, solo es muy leve. * Ojalá tengan más tonos pronto :) 10/10

El brillo no se mantiene en los labios

The media could not be loaded. El color es lindo, el brillo no es de vinil sino como satinado. Sin embargo este no se queda en los labios no importa que tan poco producto uses ni cuanto tiempo lo dejes secar, al final te queda en los labios un tono carcomido mate. El brillo tiene consistencia pegajosa.

Super stay in a semi glossy finish!

Maybelline as expected coming out with amazing products. Vinyl Ink is no different than Matt Ink except that it's a bit glossy and not in an exaggerated way like when you add a top gloss, but it's kinda similar to a creamy lipstick but obviously acts like their fan fav superstay ink ones☺️. I love it.
