Just enough for mini med kit ????
I was looking for a small pocket carrier for an Israeli bandage and some very basic first aid items I could slide into a ski jacket pocket, and this fit the bill. I did have to remove to outer bandage wrapper, but that left room for a Mylar blanket, bandaids, gloves, whistle, and micro flashlight. Happy with its construction, the outer mesh pocket, and as noted by other reviewers, this is not for a MOLLE attachment.

Well made great for carrying extra pocket gear on go.

Essential.
Holds exactly what you need without any frills or extra loops and zippers or junk. Truly minimal in the best way. Love the big pull strap on top!

Vey satisfied with the quality and usefulness of these. Highly recommended.
Very good job on the stitching. I am always wary of pouches etc from Amazon. You just never know what the stitching is going to look like. I was very satisfied with the stitching on these. The materials are of excellent quality, and feel very solid and durable. Note that there is no attachment method on the back. Just a carry strap at the top. No Molle straps, no belt loop or clip. It is designed to be in a pocket. If it was on your belt and you opened it, its contents might fall out. It is small, but at the same time, it is not. It is small enough to fit in a pocket, unless you pack it full of items, or you have small pockets. However, it is large enough to store several items. It is truly a pocket organizer, holding all those small items you would otherwise stuff in several pockets. Here's what I have in mine: Outer mesh pocket: • PaperMate Inkjoy pen (shortened) • Whistle buckle • Sewing kit • Paper • Folding scissors Left side: • Nail-clipper through tab at top • USB flashdrive • Olfa Carton Cutter • Pocket Wrench II Left pocket: • Ziplock bag with alcohol wipes, Band-aid strips, paper clips, twisty ties, safety pins, two split rings, fresnel lens • Paper with two binder clips • 6 piece tamper-proof Torx bit set Middle • Hex bit adapter for Leatherman Rebar • Zip ties pushed through rim seams (11.5" by 1/8") (the zip tie head is a perfect tight fit for the square side of the adapter. It keeps the adapter in place securely with no fear of it falling out) Right side: • AmPro Precision screw driver set (4mm bits x10) • Coast G19 • Leatherman Rebar • Mini Bic lighter attached to loop at top (secured with rubber band) • Mini zip ties in drinking straw • Hair band attached to lighter Right pocket: • Gorilla tape, common tape, and nano cord wrapped around plastic card ___________________ Some thoughts There is only one strap on each side. This means that if a small item occupies a spot, there is no way to attach other items below. If it had two straps on the left, you could secure several small items, like a battery, chapstick, pill fob etc. As it is, you have to either have space unused, or have small items in but not attached to anything. Ideally, it would have a strap tab at the bottom of the right side, to accommodate a small item horizontally below other longer items. I am very happy with it, but would like to see a redesign of this, with two straps on the left, and a strap tab at the bottom of the right side. Note: When it arrives, the paracord zipper pull will be tied in a simple knot using both ends. This is rather weak. I have included a guide for another knot. It will not come loose on its own, only if you deliberately untie it. It also keeps the paracord in an open loop, to easily put a finger through and open or close it. If you get the tan one, there might be tan thread visible along the black mesh outside. I blackened it with a sharpie and it makes it look much better. Photos: Contents as they are in and out of the pouch. You can push thin zip ties through rim seams inside. I also include a guide for the zipper pull knot I did.

Fantastic for front pocket carry with the right mods.
A few random thoughts: 1) Arrived without the "dead mouse" smell others reported. 2) A couple reviewers reported that a Moleskine Cahier notepad could fit, but it can't without bending the corners quite a bit and squishing it into the pocket. An extra small 2.5"x4" Moleskine Classic or Volant does work though (even in the small mesh pouch in the front). 3) The interior "MAXPEDITION AMERICAN DESIGN MADE IN TAIWAN" label on the inside of the pouch is perfect for holding a AAA battery or tube-type whistle, and it is high enough (and away from the other contents) that it doesn't add any more bulk. 4) Standard wallet picture pockets fit perfectly in interior sleeves and works perfectly for storing Band-Aids, floss packets, lip ointment packets, Neosporin packets, magnifier lens card, photos, etc.., etc.. Saw this idea on a video review and thought I'd give it a try. Works incredibly well! Mods that worked for me: Because most of the items that i want to store inside the Micro are pretty short (length of Bic Mini), the organizer was extra bulky in the middle (with plenty of wasted space at the top and bottom). I cut the right side (liner and elastic) out of mine and then sewed (not pretty, but effective) 4 elastic loops vertically at the bottom of the right side. This allows me to store a AAA flashlight w/ extra battery, pill fob, and duck tape rolled around itself (think size of AA battery) horizontally (and underneath the items on the left side.) I also couldn't find any real purpose for the front mesh pocket so I cut it off as well. I then couldn't help myself and cut off the exterior large loop handle (which could be used on a belt, but I would never use it as such). I kind of figured I'd regret that last one, but the paracordish zipper pull is perfect to use as a grip to retrieve organizer out of pocket. I did keep the interior right-side loop which I attached a Nite-Ize S-Biner to that makes a great attachment point for a house key, thin twine, etc. I know those mods seems like a lot of trouble, but I really wanted something that would utilize my full front pocket without being too bulky and this organizer is absolutely the perfect height and width to do so. Without the mods, you definitely could use the organizer in pretty much any pants (jeans included), and I did for a few weeks, but I never quite got used to having it there. Now, I really do forget that I have it in my pocket and I'm totally amazed at all the extras that I used not to take that I do now all of the time.

Great EDC for an EDTC
I work in an emergency department/trauma center and was looking for a smaller Maxpedition case to hold the necessary items to get through a shift. Was a little apprehensive until I read the reviews praising this. Fits my junk PERFECTLY. Not hard to zip closed at all and fits in the side leg pocket with room to spare. I’m pretty impressed. Time will tell.

Size even for the micro
A little too bulky for my pant pocket but gets the job done for exactly what I was needing and drops right into my sling bag. Would most definitely get more of this product or different size bags but definitely stick with this brand. Absolutely would recommend this to anyone! I'm talking I packed this thing to the max and for what I put into it it definitely has no problem zipping up. Yeah so it expanded a lot once packed and closed but can not complain it holds all the stuff I need and like I said drops in whatever bag I'm taking for the day and easy accessible. If you don't have one of these I would highly suggest getting one. That's my opinion but even for the micro hell yeah I'll still probably get two more of these. Then go for the maxpedition E.D.C POUCH

Great little case!
I purchased the Maxpedition Micro Pocket Organizer for making my own urban survival kit. The organizer comes in different colours. I chose the Khaki because I got tired of all my stuff being black. The organizer is about the size of a point and shoot camera case, and I was impressed that I managed to fit everything I wanted into it. Shipping was lightning fast. The organizer is very well constructed. To get an idea of how many items I fit in it (and for those of you who are looking for EDC ideas), here is a list of items in my Maxpedition Micro: In the loops: Travel toothbrush Gerber STL Drop Point Fine Edge 2.5 Single Blade Knife Scope Outlast Breath Mist Spray Regular sized blunt-point tweezers Travel sized pen Travel sized Crest toothpaste Travel sized nail clippers Mini Cree Q5 flashlight (runs on 1xAA) Stuhrling Original microfiber cloth (it comes with every Stuhrling watch, and is the perfect size for a divider) Inside Pockets: Columbia River Knife And Tool's Key Chain Sharpener Flat metal pocket mirror (purchased at a dollar store) 2 Band-aids Nail file Pocket comb Inova UV microlight Gerber solstice multi-tool (foldable scissors with screwdriver ends) Sewing kit (hotel freebie size) 2 floss picks 4 Q-tips a condom (because hey, you just never know). Outside Pocket: Burts Bees lip balm Bic mini-lighter I have attached a pic of my stuffed Maxpedition. I find that I move it now from bag to bag, and use it often! (Well, most of the items, anyway). It also still fits in my pants pocket when full. This bag is the smallest of the series. There are bigger versions of this organizer (the Maxpedition Mini, and the Fatty), but the size of the Micro is inconspicuous, and suits my urban survival needs quite well. I also couldn't imagine a much bigger pouch actually fitting in your pocket. I give this item a very enthusiastic 5 stars!

Well made, fits in back pocket when not overstuffed
Solid construction, does what I need it to do. It was hard to decide what size would suit me best, but I think the micro is great for slipping in a pocket without being to obtrusive
