A very happy 3 year old

And a very satisfied mommy. Great for potty training! These have helped keep my toddler’s pants dry during a few accidents, they have decent thickness, but I wouldn’t bet on this result every time. No, these won’t replace a pull up, but they’re not meant to. They’re soft and my son loves them. I bought 3 different designs.

Very comfy and good fit!

We started potty training with my son around 3 when he started waking up with his diaper still dry in the mornings. He would also ask us to change his diaper on the rare occasion that he did wet his diaper in the middle of the night. I realized that for some reason as long as he had a diaper on, he felt it was okay to go in his diaper but whenever he was naked, he would go in the potty. Pullups felt enough like a diaper that he would still go with them on. That's when I decided to just take the plunge and put these training pants on when he first woke up the morning. They seemed to have extra padding so I knew that if he did have an accident it wouldn't be the end of the world. Well....he didn't have any accidents! I guess the pullups were what was holding us back! He loves Thomas the Train so was super excited to put them on and didn't want to get Thomas wet. The one time he did have an accident, there was enough extra padding to absorb a lot of the wetness. They aren't waterproof but they do have enough padding that it's not a complete mess. As far as washing goes, they held up well in the wash and colors stayed vibrant. And as far as fit goes, they fit as expected. They were a little bunchy around the waste because of the extra padding in the behind but they were still super comfortable on him. I would definitely recommend this product to others.

Nice fit

These are a great fit. Nice and snug but not too tight.. just enough snug that there isn't any sagging or bulging. They look like a comfortable fit. The material is pretty soft and the padding is just enough to contain a small accident, or the very beginning of one and enough to let the child know the pants are wet, so they will want to change and avoid the wetness by using the potty. Thomas designs are cute and are a good bargaining tool, or bribing tool.. whichever best suits lol. The Thomas fan here was eager to wear them and work on potty training. I think you can bribe him into just about anything as long as there is a Thomas something or other as the reward ;) Overall well made. Nothing falling apart, no loose stitches or anything like that.

Good training pants but runs a bit small

I couldn't decide if I wanted to rate these a 4 or a 5. TheThomas image on the blue pair is like an iron on and I'm not sure how it will hold up to all the washes we may need while potty training (but than again we hope to not be potty training for too long). My son has a large volume of urine and when he has "accidents" in normal underwear it soaks his shoes so we thought these would help to absorb some of the "extra" so we could at least save his shoes from needing to be washed each time. There is extra padding in the front as well as the back. These aren't to be used as a diaper so they will still make the pants wet but a better than the "normal" underwear. They run a bit small. My son wears 2T pants and they are sometimes too big but we ordered a 3T for these and they fit perfect. (we also bough the Mickey training pants and the Paw Patrol ones as well).

Fantastic addition to potty training

Our little Thomas the Train lover was very excited to wear these big boy undies. We let him look at them for about 2 weeks and explained when he uses the potty every time he can start wearing these. He was soooo excited to wear them the first time.

Comfy and Absorbent-ish

Great starter undies for your little BIG kid. It’s important to note that these will not keep your kiddos pants dry if they wet themselves and that’s a good thing. The best way to fall in love with using a toilet is to feel the icky cold feeling of wet underwear. What these will do is absorb those tiny trickles that occur while they are still getting the hang of holding those bladders. Pros: - Made of thick soft cotton. - Cute colors and characters Cons: - Leg holes are on the smaller side. I stretch them when fresh out of the dryer. Tip: Due to the absorbent thick layers, it can be hard to get pee smells out with one wash. It helps to pre-treat with a quick dab of detergent directly on the crotch before tossing in the wash. Then send them through an extra rinse cycle.

Overall a good buy

Fits a little on the smaller side. Also can be more padded but overall quite good and comfortable. Baby loves the Thomas cartoon prints on them!

Totally useless

Useless, they gape at the sides and are also very thin. Couldn’t hold the tiniest drop of wee. Definitely wouldn’t recommend. They need elastic that at least keeps them in contact with the legs
