Product dishonest... Says it can hold 550 pounds several times, while truly on its paper manual says 242 pounds/110kg.

Purchased April 13, 2016 Not at all what it said. Several times it states that it can hold up to 550 pounds. That being said, i do not weigh that much or close to it. I just like the fact that it can weight this much, as i imagine one that can hold that amount of weight can take a lot of abuse, wear and tear- because it needs to be sturdy and rugged in order to hold 550 pounds! When i was reading the paper "Stool Assembly Instructions" that comes in the box with this product it clearly states.. " Caution: Maximum weight rating: 110kg/242lbs. " Which is a far cry from 550 pounds max weight.. So it essentially lied and is not the product it claims to be.Otherwise i like the color and it feels quite comfortable. So i gave it 1 star, because this is not the product i thought i would be purchasing, and $70.00 is a lot to be throwing at something i wasn't intending to purchase. UPDATE 6-1-2016: WARNING!!! Extremely cheap welding job with the height adjusting handle. We took it apart and my dad is actually a welder, and he looked at it, and said that the reason it broke off is because they did a crappy welding job... I adjust my seat maybe 3-4 times a day.. I am very easy on my chair.. Luckily my dad is a welder, and was able to weld it back on for me. So now its working again, thankfully! But the chair is really just cheap. They took a shortcut with the welding job. I would have returned it, but i had already recycled the box and i would have had to purchase another box and than ship it out, see if they would be willing to give me my money back. So i decided to keep it. But i do NOT recommend this product to anyone. There are other chairs out there that will do a better job i am sure! Good luck!

Broke in 2 weeks

Horrible chair! The plastic cracked within 1 week and the chair literally snapped off in 2 weeks. Not supportive in anyway. If you weigh over 209lbs don't waste your money

False description.

I just unpacked my stool, assembled it, and discovered that while the material in the diescription says that the hydraulic system will extend it to a 25 inch height, the greatest extension is to only 23 inches. That disappoints me. I chose this stool partly because of the claim of a 25 inch height. Oh well. I'll keep it and make it work. But, for others, just be advised.

Excellent quality and for a great price!

Cushion is firm so it should hold up to heavy use for a while; hydraulics are smooth and the handle is easy to find; the cushion has little air vents so they wont make that annoying "spshhh" sound when you sit - great if you are up and down during a massage. Assembled very easily and appears well-made. Very pleased.

Upholstery is firm. I did order upgraded wheels. I use this stool in my massage therapy practice. It works great.

Check your clearance massage therapists 5'3" or less!

This stool is amazing HOWEVER: I am a 5'3" massage therapist. The lowest this stool goes down is 17". It is unusable for my massage since it doesn't give me table clearance but I do have a new stool for my office.

Comfy and sturdy

Arrived two days after ordered. easy to assemble. Sturdy and works well for sewing room, so I can swivel between sewing machines. Thick cushion is very comfy. None of the wheels has a brake, just FYI if that is important.

This stool is dangerous, It should be illegal to sell.

I have feet problems, use stool in kitchen to get around. getting on the stool I feel is dangerous, I did not know stool has no control on the compressor it moves to far down when I sit on it and comes to far up when I get of. The stool is almost all plastic, I thought it was steel.
