LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE!!!

I have been grooming almost 19 years, and these are THE BEST short curved shears I have found. I bought three pair, just in case they were not being made anymore. That’s how good they are. I have spent a few hundred dollars on ONE scissor before, and they weren’t even close to these. Highly recommended!!!

Found the perfect curved shear for my use.

Having recently completed a short grooming class, I realized that my curved grooming shears were really not up to standard so I went on the hunt for what I considered a good shear. The difference of the Master Grooming 5200 and what I was using is night and day. The tension is easily adjustable and they feel well balanced in my hand. But the real difference is in how they cut my Maltese's hair. Oh goodness...like butter. I've never had scissors like this and I have to admit that there's no going back for me. I am 100% pleased with these. These come in a hard zipper case, which is truly appreciated. They will be kept safe and I'm pretty sure will last the lifetime of my Maltese.

They do the job.

This is the first time I've groomed my dogs (a cocker spaniel and a miniature schnauzer) and so I really wasn't sure what scissor set to buy. Not having anything to compare it to I really do like this set...very sharp and smooth movement. I use the thinning shears the most and so far they have held up well and do a good job.

excellent shear!

I learned on a chrome version of these, tried a different company, hated them...i HAD to find these again! thanks to amazon, i found them! I am a barber, not a pet groomer, but they like them too! they have GREAT balancing weight and the edge stays longer than i expected! I do 50/50 wet and dry haircuts, and they hold their own! I will continue to use this brand and shear for many years to come!

Disappointed

I bought these as a gift for my husband who grooms our two standard poodles. He loves the fact that they are so sharp but has trouble using them because the wholes are very small. His fingers get injured every time he uses them. He has pretty much gone back to his old standby scissors which are not nearly as good but fit his fingers better. If you have VERY SMALL fingers, you will love this set.

The straight shears appear to be good. They are sharp and have a good feel. The thinning shears stick on occasion. We had the first set replaced for the same reason. We appreciate the ease and promptness of the process for returning defective merchandise. However, we are disappointed the second set has the same problem.

I had previously bought a pair of 6.5 shears and I absolutly loathed taking them out of the drawer to use. I bought these and I LOVE them. They were sharp right out of the package no need for me to call the sharpener guy as soon as they arrived! They're light and very fluid and highlly adjustable for whatever tension I need. 5/5 would buy again :)

Not my first pair from this pet edge brand, and I love them as much as the last. Stay sharp relatively long and at a good price! Great for beginners
