Lavabile in lavatrice. Chiusura con cerniera. Importato. 88% nylon, 12% elastan.

I LOVE these
I finally found my forever jacket! These are awesome - they are stylish and athletic-looking, fit well, and are relatively warm. There are also a ton of pockets for you to put your nicknacks and drawstrings near the bottom of the jacket (intuitively inside the pockets), so you can adjust the jacket's opening to keep you warm during cold weather. As I said, they are pretty stylish so that I can wear them for a casual night out, and I also wear them to the office (I'm in investment banking).

Warm and light weight
This is my husband's go to winter jacket. It is well made, fits perfectly and just enough warmth for him. He tends to run on the warm so doesn't require a down jacket until it gets below 40 F degrees. This replaces his very old and loved North Face jacket of similar style. The new NF jacket was returned because it is made larger, cheaper and the stitched logo was replace with a plastic logo. Sheesh. My husband doesn't like logos . This jacket has a stitched logo in gray, so not too bad. Overall a great jacket.

Good quality but tight
I would have kept this jacket but it was too tight in the under arm area. Uncomfortable

Great all Purpose Soft Shell
For the past 2 weeks I've been on a trip to the Middle East and lived in the Marmot Gravity Jacket. It has exceeded my expectations and looked very good doing. It is January with day time temps from 50 to 70 degrees Farenhiet and nights in the 30s. Throughout, I've comfortably worn this sight seeing, hiking and out to dinner. It has done well in pretty heavy rain. Apperance - Strangers have given me unsolicited compliments and friends have asked me to bring one them the next time I visit. Sizing - I m 5 ft. 11 inches, 170 lbs with and athletic build and the jacket fits very well (not too baggy or restrictive) with room for a fleece underneath. The Gravity is probably not your best choice for distance running or cross country skiing in. But if you want a rugged, well thought out and attractive softshell you should seriously consider the Marmot Gravity. I am very happy with mine.

I really want to like this jacket, but....
After I accidentally melted my circa 2000 standard Northface fleece jacket by a campfire, I set out to find a nice jacket for the trails or a night out on the town. I found the sleek-looking gray version of this jacket on sale at a local backpacker shop, so I tried it on and despite the snug fit, I ended up buying it. Here's the interesting part: I'm 5'11, 165-170 lbs, 42" chest, 32" waist, flat stomach, broad shoulders and very long arms of a total wingspan around 63" tip to tip. I wear size large jackets and long sleeve shirts on most occasions, yet with a thermal base layer and tee-shirt on, the extra large version of this jacket fits me like "a second layer of skin" as one reviewer puts it. I understand that the cut is supposed to be "athletic," but it's so tight that I could probably comfortably fit into a XXL because the XL is borderline constricting. I also think the cut is a little short, as it rests just below my belt. Be forewarned! Note: I like my clothes a little tight - jeans, shirts, etc, so hopefully this jacket grows on me quickly. Because the quality and durability of this jacket seems to be very good, I'll give a more formal review of the product once I wear it for a few months.

Decent shell. Not warm, its a shell.
This is a decent shell. I think sizing is correct. I wear a medium for most items. This jacket in medium gives enough room to add under layers.A little baggy in the arms. The arms are a little long but tolerable. Keep in mind this is not a insulated jacket and not warm by any means. I would say anything less than 60 degrees one will be cold with out additional layers. I bought this as a soft shell for snow boarding. With a Columbia heavy or mid weight omni heat base layer one should be comfortable into the low to mid 40's while active and remaining light weight.

Excellent jacket. My second one.
This is my second one. Decommissioned the last one after it had a bleach stain. This is an excellent quality jacket I hope they never discontinue but the shoulder pocket could be bigger now that phones are bigger than when this was released. Back then my iPhone 4 for perfectly into it but now the 7 does not fit. Inside breast pocket fits perfectly though. Very well made and fits well.

misleading size guide
Good quality jacket (as expected), however, 1. The provided size guidance is misleading and the jacket is too large. When you will be buying, go to one size smaller. 2. The delivery service was shocking - my neighbour found the package lying on the staircase far away from my place.

Excellent product
Marmot don't sell their full range in the UK so I bought this from the US. Came really quickly. Its a great, well made waterproof and windproof thin fitted jacket but don't be fooled it's very warm.

Great Jacket
This jacket is great for most weather types, I wear it in the highlands of Scotland for day adventures, in persistent rain it will let some through, but if you're going to be out for an hour or two this jacket is great. I highly recommend it, the only point of caution I'd say is that it doesn't deal with fatty substances like milk very well, I had to wash it several times to remove evidence of my two year old. One of the best things about soft shell jackets for hill walking is that they breath, so on the lower slopes when you're getting hot you don't get wet, which makes the upper part of the mountains more enjoyable, because the cold doesn't creep in as much as it can in a waterproof jacket. I really like mine, get one, you'll like it too

Excellent Build Quality; Comments on Fit
I've only had the Gravity jacket for a week, so I can't comment on its longevity. The build quality seems excellent, though, so I assume it will provide the same high level of service as my other Marmot products (Precip pants & jacket, scree pants). Before ordering this jacket, I read a lot of reviews (both here on Amazon and elsewhere) in order to determine which size I should order. There seem to be some conflicting thoughts around regarding the sizing & fit, so I thought I'd add my two bits worth. I ordered a Medium, and it's the perfect size for my needs. I'm 5'9", 180#, wear a 40-42 suit jacket, and the sleeve on my dress shirts is 32"/33". My jeans have a 33" waist. The Medium fits like a glove. There isn't much room for layering underneath, although a thin fleece fits. That makes the fit a little snug, though, so it wouldn't be great for anything that requires a high degree mobility - e.g. climbing, etc. For that, I would have had to step up to a Large. My concern about an L is that the sleeves would be too long for me. I primarily want the jacket for wearing around town in the spring / fall, and on winter days that aren't too cold. Also for travel, along with the Precip jacket (also a Medium). It will also serve me well for snowshoeing. One advantage of the snug fit is that it keeps the wind out.
