Excellent oil-free moisturizer
This is my new go-to moisturizer for face - I used the Eucerin Daily Defense for years, but switched to this when I learned that Eucerin had some comedogenic ingredients in it. This product is more moisturizing than the Eucerin, smells better, and has a thicker texture. (I have sensitive, acne-prone skin.) It's not too heavy, but definitely adds moisture to your face, and it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, even on my eyelids. It has a very light fragrance that smells like magnolias when you put it on, but that fades and isn't noticeable during the day. (Just a warning - the SPF 17 version has a totally different ingredient list, so I can only vouch for the SPF 30). The bottle I received from Amazon is identical to the ones at my local Ulta and has felt just the same on my skin, so it's a genuine product as far as I can tell. I think my only issue is the packaging - you have to be careful not to let product get stuck in the little flip top tube, as it will dry out and you'll end up wasting it (or trying to rub dried-out product onto your face early in the morning). I usually just tap the bottle on the counter a few times before flipping the lid shut, and this seems to keep it pretty clear.

Awesome
I have a history of skin cancer and also have sensitive skin and sensitive eyes. This product works so well and doesn’t irritate my eyes, I only use it on my face and neck. My last visit to the dermatologist was great. It doesn’t feel heavy like some others that I have tried. It’s not oily or greasy. The price is a little high for the amount but you don’t need that much of it so for me, it lasts quite a long time. Great experience for me.

Special Occasion product
I really really want to love this product, and if you're spending your entire time indoors you will. It has a lovely smell, texture, and moisturizing capability (I'd say moderate-light), and of my two complaints, only one of them is major. Firstly, the shine is crazy and it doesn't soak in very fast so you have to leave extra time for face prep otherwise you'll get your makeup brushes quite clumpy from picking it up, but going out in public makeup-free is not an option for several hours because it looks like you smeared oil on your face, at least until it soaks in. Primer helped with this. Secondly, and more importantly, it is either is not SPF 30 or it doesn't protect you for more than a couple hours. I did have more luck when I started reapplying it every several hours, but combined with the slow soak-in time meant I looked like I'd been bobbing for french fries at McDonalds all dang day. I ended up with more sun damage in my few months using this product twice a day, than in the 4 years prior when I was using the Cetaphil with SPF at the same frequency. I will be saving this product for special nights out since I no longer trust it to protect my skin during the day. Primers and makeup go so beautifully on top of it that I'm not going to toss or completely stop using it, but the many brand new sunspots have me too concerned to use it as a daily product.

A quick disclaimer: I have very sensitive skin, so bear that in mind when reading my review. I think around 6 months back Mario Badescu changed the formula for this moisturizer. I used to love it! The first time I tried the new formula, my face had a burning sensation and my skin was irritated even after washing the product off (I had a reaction to it). Mario Badescu made things right in the sense that they sent me some calming toner and a calming mask to help my face after the bad reaction to the reformulation, advised me on how to help my skin calm down more immediately, and they refunded me for the lotion. The ladies I spoke to at the company were incredibly nice and helpful. I've heard from other users the new formula doesn't work quite as well for them, but none of them had the reaction I did. I really wish they would go back to the old formula, or at least have an option for online purchase for those of us that prefer it. I love their skincare line, and wish I could use their moisturizer again. I now use a product that is more than double the price, and would love to have a more affordable option again.

Unscented, absorbs quickly.
I have been using this as my summer/warm weather daytime moisturizer for years. The higher SPF version of the oil free moisturizer makes me break out but the SPF 17 version is perfect. It's unscented, absorbs quickly and doesn't make me break out. The only problem that I've ever had with this is that the product will begin to spoil towards the end of the bottle. Perhaps it was because of the storage temperature, this summer was very hot, but the product began to grow a pinkish mold around the top of the bottle. I had to throw the last half ounce away. Perhaps storing it in a cooler environment will prevent this in the future. I have not had this problem with other face products.
