Goes tuuuuuut when powered
The horn worked. Thanks for that. It's not really loud, I did expect more, but it's loud enough. I needed to replace the broken horn on my Four Winns from the 90th, so I bought this one. No, the bracket doesn't fit, it's a tiny bit too small. So I re-used the old bracket, which fits well to the horn itself.

Pretty much a direct replacement for stock horn
This horn was a direct fit replacement to my factory boat horn. I couldnt get the old bracket off the hull for the old horn so i just reused it by removing the new bracket and installing the new horn on the old bracket. So far it is an great value for the money.

Perfect replacement, identical to the original.
Great replacement for my old original boat horn. The new one came with a mounting bracket but I didn’t use it, simply removed the nut and washer then installed it in the old bracket still in my boat. Connected the two wires and it worked loud and clear. Great price, and solid product. I installed this in a 1996 Sunbird fiberglass boat.

A perfect small boat through-hull horn.
No idea what "thickness" means wrt a boat horn, but it took literally just five minutes to swap out my oem through-hull horn (on an OMC Sunbird 17 bow rider) with this model and it works great. Even passed CG inspection for loudness on a random check recently.

Works as advertised!
I got ti to fit with a little tinkering. The hole spacing on the FIAM grill on the boat was about 4 1/16". It all works again! Remember - if the Coast Guard boards you, one of the first things they're going to check is your horn. Make sure it works.

Replaced my boat horn with this one. Works great and easy to install.

Product sent was not AFI Brand as advertised.
I found this replacement horn for my boat with appeared to be a like for like replacement. The one that was one the boat was an AFI brand so I went with the same brand that had been on the boat. When the replacement horn arrived, it was not AFI brand as advertised but Marinco Brand. This horn does work but it was not the AFI brand that was on the picture when ordering.
