Great for tendonitis relief
I bought these to reduce pain and inflammation from tendonitis while lifting, and in addition to more diligent stretching, my symptoms are nearly resolved. Grip strength is important and should be trained, but sometimes, you don't want your lifts to be limited by your hands. A great use-case for these are for dead-hangs, which are phenomenal for relieving tension in the back, improving spinal alignment, and developing shoulder mobility. These straps dramatically reduce the strain on your hands when holding a dead-hang for all the non-grip-related benefits.

Perfect Alternative to Versa Grips!
I've often experienced the problem of not being able to increase my weight on a certain exercise because my hands simply could not hold the weight. This would usually be the case near the end of an hour long back or leg workout when my hands are tired. I tried lifting straps, but found them cumbersome and inefficient. Thus, the purchase of these lifting grips. I seriously considered buying Versa Gripps, but I just could not swallow the hefty price tag. These grips were considerably less expensive. They are obviously made from quality leather and seem very durable. They work better than I anticipated. I have upped my weight on dead lifts, dumbbell squats, one-arm rows and barbell rows, and many other exercises. I love the padding at the end of the strap. The only con I can see from these lifting grips is that they did tend to leave my palms black. This has gradually improved the longer I've used them (although I still get faintly black palms after 6 months of heavy use). The black does not really wash off in the shower, but it does wear off after a day or two. Still worth it.

Almost Perfect
I love everything about these. I used conventional straps for years until I saw these in action and wanted to try some for myself. So much less fiddling than straps and a rock solid grip once in place. The only thing I'd like to see done different is the wrist padding. I have to make sure that the padding doesn't displace and allow the buckle to contact my wrist. Not a huge deal but if I'm not careful I don't realize until mid-set and things are digging in pretty good at that point. A small adjustment and all is right in the world again. Overall, awesome product.

I don't even know why I deadlift with any other straps. My back is now always sore and my forearms are always able to keep up with the weight I lift. I don't have any black markings or stain on my hands like other reviewers have said. Worth it. Never will i deadlifts without these bad boys ever again. You can see the color wearing off though (very slowly), but if it gets really bad then I'll just buy new ones. Probably won't wear out for like a year and a half or 2. I'll pay for my physique if I have to because these straps help me WORK hard when I'm in the gym. A lot of time my forearms wold give out before my back...that is until I bought these guys. Worth buying! I've used those conventional straps where you tie the long straps around the bar then you lift sort of ordeal? Didn't like them. Everyone uses them so I thought they would be ideal, but personally, I'd rather have these any day than those. I am small as well (5"2) and I don't have a problem gripping the bar at all.

Good wraps overall
Have been using for a couple weeks now. Seemingly great durability & clever design. These wraps double as a protective hand guard as advertised. I ordered a small/med & am pleased with the fit for someone with smaller wrist size. However, if you are lifting heavier weight, be aware that the padding underneath the metal ring sometimes displaces & can cause discomfort in lifting. Although not advertised as such, the velcro wrist wrap is quite effective as just that - a supportive wrist wrap. I didn't give 5 stars only because the padding underneath the metal rings could be thicker & sometimes dislodges causing discomfort. ...would still recommend this product if you do not want to spend the $50-60 on Versa Grips. The clay-like moldable end piece on the wrap portion is a great added feature.

This gloves work like a charm
These gloves work like a charm! I no longer have to worry about my hands getting thrashed anymore especially considering I work in an office and don't want hands like if I was working as a construction worker. With these gloves I am already noticing a difference in my hands and it appears that the callous is going away. To top it off these also double as lifting grips which helps with lifting heavy weights when you don't have the forearm strength to lift those heavy sets. I would say the only con is that they may leave a small part of your hands black for the first couple of weeks from the black tint but I'm hoping that will stop once i fully break them in.

Excelente producto, gran agarre y buen material.
Compre estas "straps" (hace 5 meses) para poder levantar más peso cuando mi fuerza de agarre ya estuviera cansada, y cumple con lo que promete, tiene muy buen agarre ya que es de cuero auténtico, se ve que no se romperá por mucho tiempo, es muy cómoda al levantar mucho peso ya que no lastima la muñeca del todo (está muy bien acolchada). Lo único malo es que se empieza a levantar las líneas blancas que tiene en la punta para un mejor agarre pero no es mucho lo que se nota. Realmente recomiendo mucho este producto y por lo que pagas es muy buen material resistente.

Muy buen producto
Gran calidad, cuesta un poco acostumbrarse al principio sobre todo en el rack pero una vez que lo haces son un gran apoyo a la hora de realizar gimnásticos y levantamientos pesados. Recomiendo pedir una talla arriba de la tuya para evitar que estas te queden muy cortas sobre todo sí planteas usarlas para realizar gimnásticos o movimientos que requieran de movilidad en la muñeca.
