Love this product, but lately, the wrong fragrance is being sent from what is ordered
The media could not be loaded. I have been using this product since we found out we were expecting. I love it. However, the last couple of orders we have made come to us with the wrong scent. We have ordered 4 tubs now of the lavender scent and have received the fragrance free lotion. The product is still great, regardless of the scent (or lack of, in our case). I’m writing this review in hopes that someone can fix this problem for other buyers.

Texture NOT right
I suspect this is expired or something because this is VERY running and it was not the right texture of a belly butter. I bought a non fragrant one before and it was a normal butter texture. This one had a swamp of liquid on top when I first opened it and kept dripping down whenever I tried to use it. Disappointed.

Buy this!
I used this months 3-9 daily and went through 2 tubs. I gained 30ish lbs throughout my pregnancy and have no stretch marks!!

Original was great, this one is not
I used whatever original formulation this was back in 2017 with my first pregnancy through the recommendation of my sister in law. I loved it, it was worth every penny, and I do not have one stretch mark. It had a lightweight citrus scent and didn’t feel greasy, nor did it break out my skin. However, this version is quite different. It was greasier, broke out my skin, and now has patchouli added in, which makes it smell like a weird college dorm room. Absolutely not a fan, please bring back the original.

New version not great
I used this foe my 2st pregnancy back in 2019 and it was amazing, non greasy and no stretch marks. I am pregnant with my second and was so excited I already had a product in mind I wanted to us Then the item received and it was greasy the product was leaking all over the container I tried to stir it backup but it remains separated and leaves a mess all over the counter and is difficult to apply. You should have stuck with the old version I won't be able to purchase your product any longer as I can't believe that this is the same the same quality.

I’m pregnant with baby #2 and I immediately bought this again, because it worked so well for my 1st pregnancy and I’ve got no stretch marks to prove it! They say stretch marks are mainly genetic ... but why not try and help NOT get them with a lotion? This stuff goes on thick but dries nicely and doesn’t feel weighted down. Nice, neutral smell. I bought the oil as well and rotate each day after my showers- top of breasts all the way down to hips and thighs. Well worth the cost if you ask me.

toxic ingredients that are not listed on website!
I ordered Mama Mio as few years ago when i was pregnant this was first very natural,product i found on the market that didn't have any nasty stuff in it, and did the job wonderfully! Full me though it same product- well how wrong i was! Very disappointed about the company , seems principles have changed. I do not consider this product to be safe to use- as what you put on your skin goes deep within- so definitely not safe for pregnant tummy! Please just check this two : Phenoxyethanol and Sodium Hydroxide (used in industrial drain cleaners!)- Why are this inside the cream? all data available on Public Health England and other websites . I seriously question the use of such chemicals for our personal care especially during pregnancy.

I bought this after switching from palmers stretch mark cream - which I used in my first pregnancy. First off please don’t let the TOXIC SCARY INGREDIENTS post put you off - as it initially did me! When you’re pregnant you worry a lot - understandably! I had used this cream in a trial park and loved how it felt and decided to get a tub - seen that review and was terrified! After speaking to my partner with a reminder that you find chemicals in many products (shock I know..) you will find they cancel each other out or have a purpose for whatever reason, one of the chemicals the poster listed is found in cosmetic items to stop creams going mouldy! So please..don’t let that dishearten you! We have standards for selling things. After getting over that - I bought the tub! Pricey, but I love how it feels on my skin and is absorbed, it has a lovely smell, and also - mine smells exactly as the trial one did, baring in mind the trial is a tube and this is a tub, there’s a lot more cream.. the size of the tub is huge, I’m currently 24 weeks and no stretch marks yet, only my previous silver ones from my first pregnancy. I use the cream twice a day and after showers. I know stretch marks can be unavoidable…but hey there’s no harm in trying. Plus…my bump doesn’t get itchy, and my skin feels lovely. A little cream goes a long way! **update** I’m re-ordering another tub, this one lasted me 4 weeks. **ADDED PICTURE - another update - July** - bought again, 37 weeks and no stretch marks this pregnancy! Only previous silver ones from first. Added the picture to show the tub looks exactly the same as the others. Amazing reduced price so was happy with that! This will should be my last tub before baby time and I’ll continue to use after, my bump never gets itchy and always feels moisturised. Happy customer ????

I received one sample of this tummy rub in my antenatal bag in one of my maternity appointment at hospital and I started to use this when I was about 20 week. I really liked this. So I have repeated my order 4 times yet. Im so sensitive to any smell because pregnancy and I could not use bio oil because its smell so I order free fragrance mama mio rub. My skin is prone to strech mark and I have had some strech marks in my thigh before pregnancy but this rub helped me to prevent stretch mark on my tummy in this pregnancy. Now I'm 36 week pregnant. I hope this review was helpful for other mothers to be.

Smells nice but doesn’t last long or prevent stretch marks
Mama mio tummy rub butter smells lovely and is soft and quick drying on the skin. I bought it after I had a sample to try which I loved and weirdly was nicer than what I bought here. However, if you use it the way they say from the top of your boobs down to your stomach and around your sides twice a day you’d use it all up in a couple of weeks. I’ve nearly finished it and it’s been 2 weeks so for the price I won’t be purchasing again. I’m 32 weeks pregnant and have noticed a few stretch marks appearing now too so it doesn’t work at preventing them like it suggests either.

This must watered down or diluted with something, because the one I had from their website it was thick as butter and the skin soaked it up really quickly and left a nice moisturised feeling. Wile this product it’s really watery and the skin doesn’t soak it in.
