What was up with this size chart???

I LOVED the look of these pants, I still do. Like several other shoppers, I had a hard time deciding what size to buy because there was a big difference between the waist sizes of the XXL and the 2X (7.3 inches if the size chart is correct). I fall in between those sizes, and after reading reviews I went with the XXL because the pants have an elastic waist. They almost fit. They zip, but that button on the waist didn't come close to closing back in December when I wanted to take these amazing pants on my tropical vacation. I didn't return them, because 45.5" will be too big, and I'm trying a weight loss drug, so maybe by the time it's warm enough to wear them here, that button will close. I hope so. They're gorgeous. And they were flattering except for the button not closing (unless grandfather post Thanksgiving dinner is the look you're going for?). I think when Making the Cut comes back they might want to revisit their sizing a bit. I do love that the clothes are available in plus sizes, because, hello, everyone likes nice clothes. However, being size inclusive means making things easy to buy too, and this size chart did NOT make things easy to buy.

Great fit and fabric

I am 5'2, 135 lbs, and I bought size S. Wearing a platform shoe or wedge it is the perfect length. The fabric is soft yet it has substance so it feel very high quality, with excellent construction. It is also high waisted with fashionable wide legs measuring 19" each at the hem.

Great fit & feel

Love these on first wear and am already getting tons of compliments! Make sure you order according to size chart. I noticed there was a big jump in the waist measurements from the XX-Large (38.5) to the 2x (45). I went for the 2x since my waist is 43" and it fits loose, but is comfy and still looks great! My only minor complaint is that there isn't a belt loop on the center back where the waistband is elastic. Since I'm synching the belt up quite a bit, it keeps riding up in the back. Other than that, I'm completely happy with my purchase!

Great pants, terrible fabric

I love these pants. I wore them once and received many compliments. They are so comfortable and the color really pops. Sadly, they are made of a terrible fabric that has already started to pill up. I wore these pants once. To an art gallery. Not any kind of high impact event that one would expect to cause damage to pants. I haven’t even washed them yet. Amazon Making the Cut, why? Why would you ruin such a beautiful product by making it out of a terrible fabric? I wanted to wear these pants forever. Or at least twice.

AMAZING Pants!!! Love love

I never write reviews of clothes but was excited to write this one! I LOVED these pants! I am 5’3” and usually wear size 4-6 and ordered a small. It said they ran large and for me that was just perfect, they cinch my waist without cutting off my ability to breathe like some other versions of these I’ve experienced before. I’m short but the length was just right! They hit the floor slightly so if I wear a shoe with a little platform that’s enough. I feel like these are going to be a sisterhood of the traveling pants situation because I feel like they would look great on every body type. I’m just sad they don’t have more colors so I could get more!!

Fabulous!

Unlike the kimono (which is just awful...a shower curtain), these pants are fantastic. Love the color (more greenish than I expected but I love bright colors so I'm okay with them) and the material and fit. I hated the kimono so much it took me a few days to even take the pants out and try them on. I did that this morning and immediately decided to wear them to work today. I got the tank too and it runs a bit large so I'm exchanging it for a smaller size.

Totally in love with these pants! I didn’t have to alter it. Which came as a surprise. It’s almost like it was custom made for me. And the fabric is high quality. I wish they had other colors

Absolutely LOVE!

After watching the show, I really loved the colour of these trousers. I was curios to see the quality of the cut and the material and although polyester, I must say I am pleasantly surprised at how well made the trousers are. I received so many compliments about how great they looked wearing these pants, and I love that it can be styled to be fancy of smart casual. Definitely worth the buy and looking at other items from the Making The Cut store!

Poor quality

I love the design of these trousers, but considering they are made cheaply out of a polyester material their ~£50 price tag was a bit excessive. After one wash the material has started to bobble (I washed on a gentle wash in a washing bag). The button hole was poorly edged so the fabric is fraying. All in all very disappointed

High Street Twist

Didn't know what to expect when I saw these advertised after watching 'The Cut' but pleasantly surprised by their style, fit and quality of materials-something slightly different but very visually impactful but also very practical and everyday wearable too. Very happy with them.
