Flexible Sock Aid much eaier for me to use

I tried the stiff plastic sock aid first, but returned it because it was too hard for me to hold onto. An Occupational Therapist friend let me try a flexible unit and it was much easier to use, so I ordered this one and use it every day now. Much easier to hold and pull the sock into place, then a quick slide onto the feet. No negatives so far.

Best Travel companion ever!!

I got my first sock aid in 1999 and went to a conference in Finland without my husband having to go to another women's meeting! I have Never been without 1 or 2 since! When your back is fused and you can't reach your feet it is the only way to get those socks or nylons on without help! Thanks for the great product I wouldn't be without at least 1 ever

It is easy to use and works.

We have used these for years and feel it is the best to use for people having problems bending over and putting on and taking off socks, especially long compression socks.

Sick dressing aid

This sock dressing aids looks exactly like the one we got from the rehab facility. It works okay however, it is flimsy. Not as sturdy as the one we had.

Easy to use, compact for travel

Easy to use, compact and easy to travel with. I have had a few of these and they work for several months but typically one of the straps will eventually separate where it is stitched. Some sort of looped design might be better. I continue to use this type over some sturdier designs, because they are so bulky and really stretch your socks out. This one does the job nicely, but it is not a forever product.

Just like the one from the hospital

Husband had a hip replacement a few years ago and got one of these at discharge. It lasted 2+ years and when it finally gave out from daily use he wanted another. We tried one of the plastic ones and that snapped in two in a couple months. This sucker is going strong and what we will purchase again in a couple years if needed.

Medline Sock aid works like a charm

I just received this sock aid and I now have no trouble at all putting on my ankle socks! Perfect for my needs. I have not tried them for support hose. They seem well made and so easy to use. Of course, I don't know how they will stand up to daily use. Will revisit my review if they break. Well, I'm back Dec 2020. I paid $16 those in May 2018, now they are over $45. They have stood up until now, but the terry cloth on the middle section is getting quite used and smooth so I was looking to buy again. BUT...not at $45 for a small piece of cloth and plastic!
