Need a unique carabiner lock for locking items?

The Good: -Easy to use -Unique design -Can lock cables together -Good for traveling The Bad: -Feels a little wiggly but is still locked The Bottom Line: This Amazon carabiner lock is unique in that I haven’t really seen a lock like this. I’ve used this to lock bikes with a cable. I’ve also used this lock my backpack to my luggage handle. The lock is easy to set. The only negative is the lock is a little wiggly but it is definitely still locked. Overall, I would recommend this carabiner if you travel and would like to lock your bag to your carry on or if you have a cable lock with loops at each end. **Disclosure: I received a sample product from the Amazon Vine program for an honest and unbiased review.

Not the most heavy-duty of locks, and the reset lever is hard to locate

I wish there were some kind of rating scale to evaluate the sturdiness of locks. I know that storage unit facilities recommend those round continuous locks (not sure what they’re called) as they are very sturdy and difficult to break into. But beyond that you’re sort of on your own. I don’t really know anything about metallurgy or security, but the part where the locking mechanism attaches to the metal seems like it might be pry-able. Who knows, though. It took me a couple of minutes to figure out where the “reset button” was—it’s at the opposite end from the release mechanism, on the right-hand side, and almost invisible. To set a new combination, you need to open the lock and then slide the reset lever (it’s not a button) upward until it stops. Set your new combination, slide the lever back down, then close the lock.

Simple, easy to use

you can set the code to anything you want. Setting this is easy. Opening this is easy. Closing is... wait for it.. you guessed! It is easy!

Fun new type of lock

I've never seen a locking device like this before. It's a fairly standard metal carabiner except that there's a four number combination. I'm currently using this with a chain for my bike but I'm not sure what other things it could be used for. However I'm sure that the possibilities could be endless. Definitely a handy device that works as intended! Something that I can recommend. :)

Easy to set.

This lock is made of sturdy metal. The combination is easy to set. All you need to open it is to put in the combination and give it a slight twist. Hook what ever you are locking through the clip. Give the combination a slight turn and it's locked. Easy! These are so convenient for just about everything. You can lock bike chains, gates, lids, anything where you would use a regular lock. Nice!

Brilliant, i need to buy more ????

I originally bought this for locking 2 trekking Rucksacks together when we leave them unattended on a hike but i now use one for locking my work bag which has a wire rope handle to a chair, one around 2 clasps on a side gate and one for locking a bike helmet to the bike, so many uses and it feels really sturdy and strong enough to make a passing sneek thief think twice.

looks good but very lightweight combination lock

This lock looks good but it is very lightweight and I think a thief would be able to easily cut through it with bolt cutters.
