Great customer service!

The base is fine, it does what it's supposed to do. Not much to say here. This is about their customer service. We had a mudslide in our yard, and I lost the cap to the filler hole. I emailed the company, and after a couple of emails establishing exactly what I was looking for, they sent me two replacements, that fit perfectly, at no charge. Very responsive, and supportive!

Lightweight plastic stand

I already had sand, which I added for my weight as I don’t like adding water but would be a cheaper and easier solution to empty after the season to move this. I like the handle on it which is simple but helpful. Be sure to make sure to buy the right size as important so you don’t have your umbrella floating away. Since it is made of plastic which has its advantages and disadvantages, the grip holding it down via a twist knob is also that which is my only concern long term. It is cheaper than the big box store, and better designed however which is why I would recommend this.

well....2nd one

Not sure how this is supposed to work... all pieces in the box...however, i do not believe this actually fits the 3 fold 15 ft large canopy. The pole on the umbrella is a bit smaller than the holder and the extra piece for smaller poles. So the extra fitting is too small and the base holder is to large...nothing in between to fit the pole for the 15ft umbrella. Still there are issues on accomplishing a safe environment with this stand and the umbrella. Love the basic idea of the water in base, but there are not enuf couplings to make it a perfect safe fit.

Don't let your return window run out.

Was upgrading patio and saw this on Amazon, so I just bought it. Unfortunately I just opened it to install yesterday 7 days past the return period. I will contact the manufacturer. Unboxing it looked great. Got the base post installed however it required a pipe wrench. It wouldn't torque down enough by hand to keep the sway to a minimum. Inserted the umbrella post and went to tighten it into the base post with the cheap plastic turn know that is supposed to rotate a bolt. Needed to be metal because it snapped off. Retaining ring was broken, out of the box. Concept is good, just cheap material. Base needs to be less tall, and wider as well. It's too boxy to use with a stand alone umbrella under any circumstances (wind, or no wind). You get what you pay for folks. Oh, open your box and put it together before 30 days is up :) I own that one.

Wheels too small to move

Bought this as a stand for an offset umbrella so that I could move it as needed. The wheels don’t do any good. I filled with sand as directed for sturdiness( very sturdy) but if you try to tilt back onto the wheels to move, nothing. Wheels don’t bring it up enough off the ground to move. 5 stars for sturdy, 0 for moving, 3 overall.

horrible product.....had it about 37 days and the bottom has buldged

Very cheaply made....bought and filled with water as directed.....inserted the umbrella. The bottom side of the stand some how buldged and now the stand will not stand up straight and the umbrella tips over all the time. Of course the stand is just outside the 30 window to return to Amazon. I would not buy this product as its cheaply engineered and worked for all of 3-4 weeks....real crap

Sturdy

We needed a base for under our patio table. I looked at cast iron ones but they were too heavy for something I’d need to move/store. This base is super easy to use. We filled it with water but I think a more permanent solution would be to fill it with sand. It isn’t too bulky under the table and does not interfere with people sitting at the table. It has held our 6’ umbrella with ease for the last several weeks with almost daily use.

Works Perfectly, As Described

I am very pleased with this purchase. The base is easy to move, when empty, and very easy to fill. I haven't had any issues with my 3 tiered umbrella blowing over, even in very strong winds. Please note, I do not leave my umbrella up except when using, and when it isn't extremely windy outside. I love the red color, and the fabric does a great job of shedding water. The umbrella would be straighter, if we had level ground. :)

Does not fit my umbrella!

Utterly dissatisfied with this purchase! I bought this umbrella base for my umbrella and it does not fit! I specifically ordered this one as it says it goes with the umbrella I purchased. The pole for the umbrella is larger than the hole for the base. Huge waste of money as it was not cheap.

its not as good as the one i bought at giant tiger for half the price, hold down not as good and not multiple size like the other one i had, but when no one else has them this one will have to do still has same weight to hold down
